Re: [Spoilers] Remember 430... Richard and Linda

The 'Fat Trout' telegraph pole with the no. 6 on it was outside Carrie Page's home, not near the pylons.

Re: Part 18 - What is your name? (SPOILERS)

17: Best thing I have ever seen, ever. 18: Lots to think about! It seemed like the first episode of Season 4 to me, which seems to be a popular interpretation round here. Really hoping that this means we'll get something else. I realised with about 20 mins left that nothing major was going to happe...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

I challenge all of you to put forward a season of any TV show ever which you consider to be worse than what we just watched so I can check it out and perhaps stop saying that this is the worst thing I've ever seen that has an IMDB page. There are literally thousands of tv series worse than TPTR, to...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

Personally, I loved episode 18, probably more than any other part of The Return. If that's all there is, I'm ok with that. Having said that... Green Glove - bring back Little Nicky and the Pine Weasel, all is forgiven. Was hoping he'd take a stray bullet whilst stopping Chad, absolutely beggars beli...

Re: Part 18 - What is your name? (SPOILERS)

I think tonight's reaction is almost identical to what I remember after Series 2's finale. The vocal majority absolutely detested it, a passionate minority adored and defended it. Of course, Season 2's ending is now considered one of the all-time greats, and I suspect The Return's equivalent will c...

Re: Part 18 - What is your name? (SPOILERS)

Genuinely astonished by how many people there are that didn't enjoy 18, to the point where there are multiple posters claiming they're in tears at how awful it was. I'd rate it as my second favourite episode of The Return after 8. Loved it. I think tonight's reaction is almost identical to what I r...

Re: Part 18 - What is your name? (SPOILERS)

Didn't care for Gordon's exposition at the start of 17, and I've no idea what Lynch was thinking with the mockney glove wanker, but the rest of 17 was petty good. As for 18, I loved every single fucking second of it. Gave me full on og Twin Peaks chills throughout, no-one can create a sense of impen...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

The original series was full of continuity errors and other mistakes, it really had never been as meticulously pieced together as some people seen to think, so I'm not sure why (some) people seem convinced that all the cock-ups this time around are intentional. Yep. And we know DKL filmed all this ...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

If Richard's father was born in 1973, then he would be nearly 25 years his senior. That's one small detail about his arrest report that seems to "make sense" in light of what he said to Richard regarding their age difference. The report listed his birthdate as August 15, 1973. It was rega...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

-Coop mentions the exact location of the .38 Bushnell carries, he IS 100%. He is using those borderline supernatural perception skills that are so remarkable in season 1, I have no doubt he knows the kind of people the Mitchums are AND have been on all sides. I thought this was a nod to Breaking Ba...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

Oops, guess I forgot about that. Well ... okay, I don't know why "Diane" didn't need a ring. Because she was killed, not repossessed by the Lodge. But Ray was killed and had to have a ring to go into the Lodge? Are there different rules for tulpas and humans? If I had to guess, I'd say it...
