Re: What were the most impactful scenes of TP:TR?
So many for me, many of them already mentioned. But I'd have to say it was Cooper's ill-fated rescue mission, especially Laura '89 addressing Cooper and the erasure of her body, wrapped in plastic, from Pete's fishing trip. It was something I'd imagined and wanted to see and when I saw it happen it ...

Re: Calling all who think the original timeline is still intact
Jeffries tells Cooper "Say hi to Gordon if you see him. He'll remember the unofficial version." IMO that's internal evidence that Cooper's mission in Part 18 doesn't destroy anything, but removes him from the original timeline, as Jeffries had been, and deposits him in an alternate version.

Re: So is there anyone else who prefers The Return to the original?
I'm grateful of course for all of it, but I prefer The Return. It was just what I wanted, even if everything about it was a surprise. I feel like I will be living with it for the rest of my life, and it will continue to challenge and reward.

Re: POLL: The Nature of Audrey's Situation (Spoilers)
So, anyway, with all that in mind, back to Audrey : she was pulled out of whatever Twin Peaks "dream" she was in before her scene at the RoadHouse, and her story was indeed terminated with her being pulled to our reality / dream... So the last time we see her, we might actually just be se...

Re: Creepiest/scariest scene(s) [Spoilers]
the long scene with Sarah smashing the picture with a glass bottle was hands down the creepiest moment of TR for me. those otherwordly guttural crying/screaming sounds while we watch the empty Palmer living room (take note of it not being a static shot but using much small camera movement to create...

Re: POLL: Which Characters Will We See in the Final Two Hours?
I chose Harry, Red and Diane.
I'll also say a glimpse of Part 8's frog-bug girl isn't out of the question.

Re: Poll: Lynch's David Bowie/Jeffries Workaround
I thought it was visually and conceptually excellent, but the voice, and especially the dubbing, was a below-average disappointment that made his absence hurt more. IMO Bowie's voice should have been left untouched. The evolution of Jeffries should have sounded as strange as it looked, rather than a...

Re: Part 15 - There's some fear in letting go (SPOILERS)
This leads me to believe that there´s actually more of the old Cooper in Mr. C than what we know off. I think most of us have been thinking of Dougie as the "real" Coop, but Cooper is split, and his shadow self is just as much him as are the lighter aspects. IMO Jefferies saying "So ...

Re: Predictions - will Season 3 be the last Twin Peaks?
I think this will be the end and I'm fine with that. Think of what a miracle this was, with Lynch and Frost telling the story they wanted telling, and by capturing the final performances of some beloved characters. Really, this will give us more than enough to chew on for at least another 25 years.

Re: Part 13 - What story is that, Charlie? (SPOILERS)
He's been excellent. That character is so effective because however unhinged, malicious and aggressive he is; however much rage he desperately projects- he isn't at all naturally intimidating. Which only makes him all the more dangerous. Yes. Richard is interesting because while he's volatile, he's...

Audrey's in narrative purgatory because Sherilynn Fenn was late signing? I like this.Jasper wrote:
If it's very meta thing, and Charlie in some way represents Lynch/Frost, one story that they ended was Donna's.

Re: When do you think will "Dougie" snap back to being Cooper? (Spoilers)
I'd never anticipated "old Coop" back in any preceding part, but I'm feeling differently about Part 13. Especially after the purposeful frustrations of Part 12, and now that so many have surrendered their expectations of Cooper ever returning. We know there's a climax approaching in Vegas....

Re: Part 12 - Let's rock (SPOILERS)
If only Part 12 had been titled "Keep the blood," or maybe "It's a goddamn bad story." Anything other than "Let's rock." I know it's foolish to build expectations upon snippets of contextless phrases, but I would have enjoyed the shock of hearing Diane utter these words...
