Making almost everything in Parts 1-16 irrelevant and starting the real story in Part 17 doesn't seem so masterful, in my opinion. He could have just made a 2-3 hour film about Cooper and Diane if that's what the actual story was about.

I really wanted a resolution for Sarah/Experiment/Glass box, Audrey/Mr. C/Richard and Shelly/Bobby/Becky/Red. But I am mostly disappointed that none of the plots were resolved and were completely irrelevant. Re-watching parts 1-16 seems pointless now except for a few scenes.

What the hell did I just watch?! Part 17 was bad but at least some parts were so cheesy that it was amusing. I didn't like the retconning of Laura's story. However, the episode would have worked as a series finale. But what the hell was Part 18? It was worse than my worst nightmares. Almost nothing ...

I've watched most of the episodes two or three times, but some of the scenes I re-watched more often. I began a complete re-watch after part 16 (which I'll hopefully finish before part 17) and will probably do a complete re-watch after episode 18.

During the Roadhouse fight James says "Dial 911". This struck me as funny, isn't it more common to say "Call 911"? And then there's the possible connection to the "119" lady.
