Re: 'Twin Peaks: The Final Dossier' Novel by Mark Frost 10/31

I think the Flatiron is the US printing and Macmillan the UK printing. There should be no difference in content. Yeah, I figured that was going to be the major difference, but the different page number was intriguing. Pretty sure I got the Flatiron edition last time, and was happy with it. So that ...

Re: Appetizer for Tonight's Finale - Twin Peaks Break Beats!

Sounds good. I assumed from the first post that you had already (part)finished, so was just curious as to when I could get my hands on it. :D

I thought the video was very effective too, well edited and suited the mood perfectly.

Good luck with the rest of the project!

Re: 'Twin Peaks: The Final Dossier' Novel by Mark Frost 10/31

Apologies if this has already been discussed, but looking at ordering the book and there are two versions available on the site I am using (Book Depository); one published by Flatiron with 176 pages, one by Macmillan with 160 pages. Both hardback, similar page sizes, slightly different prices obviou...

Re: Appetizer for Tonight's Finale - Twin Peaks Break Beats!

I had a listen and am intrigued, and interested to hear more. :)

Do you have plans for how you are going to release?

Might not have been the best time to post, given it got swamped by the finale tidal wave. Consider this a bump so that you might get the attention you deserve.

Re: FIRE WALK WITH ME script

I'm not sure if the Norwegian dinner would fit in with the rest of FWWM tonally, though I certainly do like it. I think the only Missing Pieces that I'd really put back into FWWM would be: 1) Laura at the Haywards's 2) Leland glaring demonically at Laura, who's hiding in the bushes on her final nig...

Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/18

I was going to order from the Book Depository, but in my opinion it's website looked kind of sketchy. The reviews were pretty mixed too, so I didn't want to take a chance. I don't know about you, but I have to pay shipping, being from the UK, so I didn't want to take a chance. I ordered from Barnes...

Re: Xiu Xiu Twin Peaks RSD release

Video doesn't mention the date/location, but a full recording including all the 'theatrical' bits:

It's pretty good quality all things considered.

Re: Xiu Xiu Twin Peaks RSD release

Looks awesome, but not being in the US my chances of getting it legitimately are less than zero. :( Here are a couple of short clips about the performance at the Lynch exhibition. The first is a behind the scenes, the second an extract of the live performance. _rrK6UvAkLs xuEgLvsaH-Y The live clips ...

Re: Fox Bat Strategy

The album is now 'out there' thanks to the usual places of mixed repute.

I have to say its actually kind of good, a pretty simple concept but executed with quite some style.

Too kind, but as I said over in that other place, all thanks are due to my University and its online journal collection.

Any thoughts on any of the papers?

Here is a re-up of the archive of the Special Edition that I posted on the Gazette:

If it doesn't work, or if you have trouble with the zip, let me know.

Thanks for that. I have been doing some tidying up today and I think I have 'cleaned' all of the episode and character pages, but gee, there are a hell of a lot of spam pages to be deleted. I don't really know much about using wikimedia, but there mus be a quicker way of deleting those pages in bulk...

Gang, I think I've made some real progress - I've "locked down" the site so that nobody can make any changes of any sort unless I designate them as a sysop. Now, I've got the cleanup work ahead of me. If you're interested in working on this project as a sysop, please post an affirmative t...

There is a hell of a lot of crap spam-pages in there that could be edited out, a number of which I have tagged for deletion, and according to the wiki-media help pages there are a number of options available to try to combat it happening again, but by raising these issues I guess I am opening myself...

I have looked at the wiki a few times in the past while 'learning' the show for the first time and thought that I should try to contribute. Now seeing the terrible spam-damage, I am happy to try to help maintain, edit and develop the site with others. However, I have no experience with such enterpri...
