Re: Living In Twin Peaks
what a dream come true! how often i wished i could live in snowqualmie. but one would have to have a car. which i don't have as i never learned, nor could afford to, own a car. enjoy your home there! sounds like a wonderful thing. have a slice of cherry pie for me! [just recently had a twin peaks ma...

Re: Fire Walk With Me - First impressions
gavriloP-harry dean stanton must be a most versatile actor indeed. his character on 'christine' was pretty damned different from the trailer park manager on fwwm, lol!!! seems he has done a great deal of acting- and in very disparate films/movies. and, like you'd mentioned, he doesn't seem to age ap...

Re: Fire Walk With Me - First impressions
^ indeed.
was watching steven king's 'christine' this afternoon on a rented dvd from netflix. there was a law enforcement guy who was played by the same actor who'd played the manager of the trailer park in FWWM. the actor looked pretty much the same 10 years or so earlier.

oh, that'd be wonderful indeed. i enjoyed that book so much. lol, i recall hearing on a 'leave it to beaver' episode, the beav pronouncing that author's name as ' mogham' instead of, of course, 'maum'. i'm a huge fan of the beav, btw......miniseries of Of Human Bondage...

Re: Last Film You Watched
carl- the wagner score to that movie sounds gorgeous indeed. though i'll pass on the naked women... It is the most bizarre Lynch movie ever. I really enjoyed it, but I can't figure any of it out. indeed. this is how i have felt when viewing most of lynch's movies. however, i didn't have trouble unde...

am renting the 90's tv series from netflix, 'my so called life'. i adore shows like these and am a huge fan of the original degrassi jr high and degrassi high series. not so much a fan of the later incarnation in the 2000's, but did find them riveting nonetheless.

Re: Last Film You Watched
Carl: thanks for the heads up. i imagine that netflix has only the edited version. which is fine with me, because nudity makes me feel very uncomfortable. for all my left of center political leanings, i am truly victorian when it comes to bein' nekkid... but i'll know for sure if the one i've rented...

Re: Last Film You Watched
gav- indeed, it was the remake starring one nicholas cage. i will have to search on netflix for the original. both movies were based on a book titled: "rituals". i must admit that i was hoping for a happy ending. i like those. i felt bad when both the goat and nick weren't rescued, but, in...

Re: Last Film You Watched
'the wicker man'. i noted some odd similarities to twin peaks. large log toting trucks kept driving by. as well, a diner in the movie reminded me for all the world of good ol hap's.
lastly, angelo badalamente wrote the score.

Re: First time viewer
what fun indeed. whenever i have a 'twin peaks fest', it recalls the feelings i had whilst watching it for the first time on network tv. indeed, nearly 20 years have passed and it's as fresh as ever. enjoy! perhaps one day, i'll be able to visit snoqualmie. lol, i even looked for mobile homes online...

Re: Alejandro Jodorowsky
i have a boxed set of Alejandro Jodorowsky films: El Topo; The Holy Mt; and Fando Y Lis. the latter film is my favorite. the scenes in all the films are certainly surreal and remind me of some of my own bizarre dreams, lol. the 'orgasm machine' in the Holy Mt was very amusing to say the least. the s...

gee, that sure sounds like it was a lot of fun indeed. thankyou for going into detail what your marathons were like. i look forward to the completion of your site, so i can see the photos of your parties. alas, my maratons are solo. i sure wished i knew people who'd have one with me. btw, my maratho...

Re: Who here is going to the festival?
one of these years, i hope i can. but right now, it's more than i can comfortably afford; as well, it's too long of a plane trip for me. if i do move to tucson, it'll be a much shorter trip from that city to the TP festival. because i don't drive, i wonder how much of a challange it'd be to get the ...
