Re: The 2012 Twin Peaks Fest
Oh it's always been time consuming, be it a crowd of 80 or 200+. It's the same Festival, just more people. :) Jared and I had said for a while that we wanted to make it to the 20th Festival and then tap out. But we wanted to see the Festival at least that far. And we did. And now we're done. For me ...

No, we will most likely not announce that until the end of the year.

Re: The 2012 Twin Peaks Fest
Al is SUPER awesome. Sadly he won't be bringing the Chinook with him this time (it's registered non-op) but he says it's still purring like a kitten so perhaps he'll bring it the next time? :) We were bummed about Jen having to cancel but not as bummed as she was. She's super upset about it because ...

Re: The 2012 Twin Peaks Fest
Oh, and I think the film loaning issue has to do with the fact that the North Bend Theatre is now a single reel system and the print of FWWM that is available is a multi-reel and they will not allow splicing. Understandable, and yet completely and totally frustrating. And I'm guessing it's too much ...

Re: The 2012 Twin Peaks Fest
I'm just happy that people trust us enough to attend at least once, and then enjoy it enough to return whenever they can. The festival is a labor of love for those of us who've had the honor of running it over the last twenty years. Thank you all for giving us the steam to keep it going. Even if you...

Re: The 2012 Twin Peaks Fest
Unfortunately FWWM is one of the films Swank has where they send you directly to the distributor for their permission. The distributor is denying most requests for this print (including ours).

Re: New Interviews with Julee Cruise, Harley Peyton, and mor
LOVE IT! Can't wait to read part 2.
I laughed about how they told David that Spielberg agreed to direct the first episode of season 2 and David was just like "Nah, I'll do it myself. He can do a later one." I mean...it's Spielberg! I love David's chutzpah.

Re: The 2012 Twin Peaks Fest
We are working hard to try and get a theatrical print of the film. Backup plan is digital of course, but our rep at the theater is working to get us film first. The one thing making this super difficult for us is that the NBT is a single-reel system and usually just splices together any multi-reel f...

Re: The 2012 Twin Peaks Fest
Brad! And anyone who may still be on the fence! Don't forget to buy your ticket. We are almost sold out, and will most likely be by the end of this week! Just to spread the word some more because I don't think enough folks caught this, but the film night this year will be held at the North Bend Thea...

Re: The 2012 Twin Peaks Fest
RE: Harry Goaz. We are in continuous touch with him as he has become a friend to many of us, but if you want an honest response, he is not interested in the festival at this time. He has his own personal reasons and we are respecting that rather than harassing him in public on Facebook as I am seein...

Re: Twin Peaks Gazette Message Board
Just an FYI - we're working on culling the best discussion threads from the Gazette which Jordan will then have available somewhere on his website (not sure exactly where yet, still sifting through well over a thousand threads of just TP/FWWM discussions...oy).

Re: R.I.P. Don S Davis - Major Briggs
It's so odd, I've had a great many favorite celebrities pass away over the years, and while their deaths have saddened me, for some reason Don's has hit me really hard. I think perhaps because he's one of the few celebrities I've ever had a chance to meet, and I know what a good person he really was...

Re: R.I.P. Don S Davis - Major Briggs
Don was truly one of the great spirits of Twin Peaks and the Festival. He was really looking forward to attending this year because he always enjoyed the experience and the fans and he had so many wonderful things to say about Peaks and the Peaks community. I'm so so sorry that so many fans will mis...

R.I.P. Don S Davis - Major Briggs
In case you have not yet heard, Don S. Davis passed away yesterday at the age of 65 due to a massive heart attack. His widow Ruby sent out e-mails informing friends and fans, and Stargate fansite Gateworld put together a nice short piece on Don. Click here to read.
