Re: David Lynch UK Conference 2009 Oct 30th -Nov 1st
I was looking forward to seeing Angelo Badalamenti but couldn't get my head around what he'd be doing at a symposium about the Lynchian body. Having a guest speaker answering questions about whether a complete FWWM CD will be released (for example) would be massively dumbed down by Tate standards. I...

Re: Bowie on FWWM?
I've been going through my Lynch memorabilia and have that press release to hand. The only Bowie quotes I've seen in print were taken from the paragraph below. David Bowie comments on his experience with Lynch: "It's like watching a 14-year-old who's been given permission to rearrange the world...

Re: David Lynch UK Conference 2009 Oct 30th -Nov 1st
I've got my ticket.
There's no mention of Angelo Badalamenti on the Tate website, in the blurb or the schedule. Presumably he cancelled and they've edited him out?
Tate puts podcasts of its events on iTunes so the Lynch symposium might be available to download at some point.

Re: Interesting FWWM Fan Made Video
That video should be conclusive proof for anybody who still needs it that every single frame of Fire Walk With Me is beautiful. You could splice clips any of the scenes together (in an admittedly pointless montage) and it'd still look stunning.

Anybody who hasn't imported the Gold Box by now deserves bad transfers.

Re: Thoughts on "Beautiful Dark"?
The selling point of Beautiful Dark seems to be that it's definitive (hence the length) rather than insightful and/or well written.

Re: Sherilyn Fenn's latest projects & career
Not to threadjack, but Sheryl Lee was originally supposed to play Mary Alice Young on Desperate Housewives. I don't know why Sheryl couldn't make it, but they put Brenda Strong in instead. Brenda Strong played Jones in Twin Peaks. The producers felt Sheryl was 'too ethereal' as Mary Alice Young but...

Re: Where Season Two fell apart
I think everything that can be said about the second season already has. The second season was killed by a combination of bad planning (Windom Earle should have been introduced sooner) and Kyle Maclachlan vetoing the Audrey/Cooper storyline, which left a big hole in the middle of the series. I've ne...

Re: MISCELLANEOUS launched!
'In Twin Peaks' is a breath of fresh air. And just when I thought the only thing Twin Peaks online had left to offer was endless discussions about what went wrong with season two!

I suppose the Access Guide is more reliable because of the involvement of Lynch/Frost.

Re: TP: FWWM American R1 DVD
The US R1 DVD was originally issued in a snapper case but I've been to the US twice in the last couple of years and have only seen one in a snapper case. The rest were in standard plastic boxes. Presumably it's been reissued since its original release. Unless you buy it via a listing with a picture ...

Re: Twin Peaks: the 1991 board game.
Thank you very much for the scan DigitalGhost, it's very nice. Ouch, it's seem really a tough game, four pages of rules, I think it's more the pleasure to have another item of twin peaks, for to be honest, before to see this board, I have no idea that we can find rare item like this, it's very cool...

Re: Twin Peaks: the 1991 board game.
Thank you very much DigitalGhost for the precious detail that you give me about this game, it's very interesting, maybe I will try to buy it, but I'm not sure. It was a big surprise about this game that there are already a death trap, with black Lodge characters, because I think that their descript...
