Re: northwest passage: a fan edit.

It actually strikes me as arrogant to take on such a project at all - to deign to think one is worthy to casually take a work of considerable artistic merit and chop it up to one's liking. Not only that, but to pre-announce it ("Coming in March!") to build anticipation. Perhaps it comes f...

Re: Twin Peaks reference in last episode of Fringe

Hi first poster here... I noticed the Jacoby reference right away, nearly fell off my seat LOL Also in episode 13 "Immortality",Joan Chen who played Jocelyn Packard turns up as Walternate`s girlfriend...you think the makers were TP fans? :) How cool would it be for the Fringe writers to se...

Re: Twin Peaks reference in last episode of Fringe

I am a newcomer to Fringe, the show has got almost no publicity in the UK, it's on one of the Sky channels, but I totally missed the first 2 series and have only just started watching them via Apple TV, I have been watching 3 or 4 episodes a day on and off for the last fortnight and I'm half way thr...

Episode Titles

Is anyone else familar with these episode titles? I know they were never shown on screen, but I am presuming they must have appeared on the original teleplays, otherwise I'm at a loss as to where they may have come from? Season One: Pilot Ep1 - Traces to Nowhere Ep2 - Zen, or the Skill to Catch a Ki...

FRINGE

Am I the only person who watches FRINGE - it often reminds me of Twin Peaks, and there have been direct references to it at times, along with a wealth of other knowing quotes and nods to classic fantasy/SciFi material.

Any other fans of the show lurking here?

Re: What are some good TV shows to watch?

I'm shocked and stunned that nobody's mentioned "FRINGE" here - perhaps like me you were unaware of it, despite it now being in it's third series. But I recently discovered it and I would have though, like Carnivale, that this show is right up TWIN PEAKS and general Lynch fans street! http...

Don't get me wrong, if they put up an album's worth of unreleased TP material I'll buy it, but they really have to resolve the browser issue asap.

Great for Lynch and Badalamenti fans who don't use IE and who haven't already downloaded most of the content elsewhere where it's been readily available for ages.

Re: davidlynch.com is now David Lynch Music Company

I beg to differ the entire site is written in Java script with loads and loads of embedded swf (Flash) object files. I could only get it to work in Safari (for Windows) by installing the Adobe Flash plugin - but that's not my main gripe, my main gripe is with the content. Regardless of what I may th...

Re: davidlynch.com is now David Lynch Music Company

I have to say I really don't like this site... I hate the Flash heavy, buggy, slow design that doesn't work with any version of IE I've tried and won't work with iPhone/iPad which just a seems an act of commercial sucidide. To top that the content is pretty poor, so much of it has been out to downlo...

Quatermass, Monty Python's Flying Circus, Not Only...But Also, Ripping Yarns, The Goodies, One Foot in the Grave, The Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Postman Pat... Good luck finding episodes of "Not Only...But Also" to watch! There but for the grace of God could have gone Python and T...
