I see this, and one called Episode 1. They could be a behind the scenes feature on the original show? Or maybe they found and restored more deleted scenes from the first season? It's hard to say.

Re: POLL: The Nature of Audrey's Situation (Spoilers)

08661a99-244b-49e7-b7f3-40c3f5c2d1dd.jpg Fenn says here that she cried when she read Audrey's original part, refused to do it, and had Lynch rewrite it. It's not exactly news but it's the first time I see it stated so clearly all in the same answer. So the theorizing around here seems pretty much c...

Re: Criterion edition 10/17/17

The Lynch/Zabriskie/Wise/Lee feature seems to be listed as ten minutes shorter than the Entire Mystery version, and doesn't appear to be titled. Is it possible that they removed the "in-character" interviews? That would be tragic and silly. That's probably exactly what they did. Maybe the...

Re: Part 18 - What is your name? (SPOILERS)

2. the scene with Leo, Jacques and Ronette waiting for Laura is from FWWM.. some of it might have been alternative shots but it's basically the exact same scene except Laura never arrives in this version. So was all of the old footage used in Part 17 from the Pilot or FWWM as we know them? It seems...

Re: Calling all who think the original timeline is still intact

My personal jury is out on this. Certain things, like Cooper taking care to provide Janey-E and Sonny Jim with another tulpa, lead me to think the original timeline remains. Others, like Jeffries' "Gordon will remember the unofficial version" lead me to think it's been overwritten. (And, ...

Re: Calling all who think the original timeline is still intact

Jeffries tells Cooper "Say hi to Gordon if you see him. He'll remember the unofficial version." IMO that's internal evidence that Cooper's mission in Part 18 doesn't destroy anything, but removes him from the original timeline, as Jeffries had been, and deposits him in an alternate versio...

Calling all who think the original timeline is still intact

Hi everyone! Just curious who thinks the original timeline/series/most of the return storyline is still intact and why? What are your theories? Can you explain why you feel it is still intact? I want very badly to believe the original timeline still happened and Laura's death still happened but I ha...

Re: Part 18 - What is your name? (SPOILERS)

From the critic and writer David Auerbach comes this interpretive theory and it's about the most thorough and best one I've seen. Should become the de facto one afaic. So does he think Laura was saved from death in the original timeline? Man, I really want to read an in-depth theory that feels the ...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

Sabrina got back to me on the Cooper age issue. It definitely seems to be a simple continuity mistake (which I won't be telling her haha), which is further emphasized by the case file picture I posted during the marathon. Just thought you guys would like to see! 2017-09-06_8-46-27.jpg "It's no...

Re: Part 18 - What is your name? (SPOILERS)

On rewatch, I noticed some very interesting editing choices for the end of parts 17 and 18. In Part 17, we see Cooper trying to change the past with Laura, then we see Sarah freaking out and trying to destroy her photo and then we see Laura disappear from Cooper's grasp and scream with Julee Cruise'...

Re: S3: Biggest Disappointment About Unresolved Subplots?

I love the ambiguity of Ben asking Beverly to dinner, and like you, DL, I don't believe she was actually there. In a way it was almost like a mirror of Coop's "Diane" tapes in the old show, with the viewer meant to wonder if it was actually just a man talking to himself. Whether or not Be...

Re: The deceased dugpa spoiler thread's partial mirror

I spoke with someone from Everett (would have to dig the email out) but they said the Pigeon Creek location got rained out so they had to film in warehouse a few blocks from there instead. It's the Richard and Red scene we have in the final product, just shot in a different location than originally...

Re: The deceased dugpa spoiler thread's partial mirror

I thiought this was interesting: UnderTheSycamores: [Oct 07] Well I went over to the Palmer house and they are indeed in full shooting mode there today, all the cast, crew, and equipment trailers are lining a side street and I spotted a tent right in front of the house. Couldn’t get close as they h...

Re: Part 18 - What is your name? (SPOILERS)

A complete diversion from the part 17-18 discussion from anyone that wants a break, and this is going to sound crazy, but hear me out. In giving a tiny bit of credence to a potential Nadine/Jacoby deleted scene, I find this curious. EW shot the actors in costume for their covers (the magazine credi...
