Re: Theories & Speculation

The Drugged-out Mother aka The 119 Lady. I've been thinking a lot about her recently. She only does a few things. Drink booze, take pills, sleep, and yell out '119'. I wasn't the first to notice the objects on the table where we always see her sitting at. Two stand out immediately. Screen Shot 2018-...

Re: General Discussion on the New Series (All Opinions Welcome)

In Part 8 of the original series, The Giant shoots a golden orb into Coop's head before he goes to sleep. Given what we now know, does this mean we can say The Giant and The Fireman are one and the same?

Re: Theories & Speculation

Good stuff TwinBeaks. I have a different take on the sounds the Fireman is telling Coop to listen to, but hearing others sound off (plus coffee of course) helps fire my Peaks brain.

Re: How would Lynch/Frost tackle Season Four?

I'd like to think we'd be between two worlds in some respect - two timelines, or maybe just one rewritten after all, who knows. And that we'd see more of both Laura and Audrey in central roles. Probably Tammy as well, Cole's latest protege and the keeper of the flame with Albert gone. I think they'...

Re: How would Lynch/Frost tackle Season Four?

I imagine any S4 would be as difficult to predict as S3 was. I personally doubt that Lynch has any interest in doing a straightforward “alternate timeline,” although he might tackle such a thing in a more abstract sense. Just as this season muddied the waters as to whether anything in the original ...

How would Lynch/Frost tackle Season Four?

Any theories? Since we are now dealing with multiple timelines, do you think we will continue to switch back and forth? I would love to spend some/more time in the 'Laura is missing' timeline. Presumably Maddy still exists there and would give Sheryl Lee a meaty part. Could the final missing Laura P...

Re: Listen to the sounds....

I think the sound IS of a record skipping*. A record is almost always a linear progression from the start to the end. However, if there is a defect, the needle may skip back and endlessly try to play through. It also may jump forward into another groove. There could also be just a noise heard. So if...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

I find it a bit depressing that most of the general discussion goes on in a profoundly disappointed thread instead of a general discussion thread. I'd be happy to move, but it's where people on either side keep seeming to want to have these discussions. Do we even have a general discussion thread? ...

Re: Cooper's conversation with The Fireman in episode 1 (linear and non-linear approaches)

A Fireman puts out fires. Made me think of this: "When this kind of fire starts, it is very hard to put out. The tender boughs of innocence burn first, and the wind rises, and then all goodness is in jeopardy." As for Coop's pin, I'm wondering if relates to the different timelines we are s...

Timelines

I remember taking note of the fact that Mark Frost said he was a big fan of Westworld on HBO. Then, when we started to get into the timeline stuff in S3. It made some sense I suppose. Recently I began to wonder if timelines weren't a big factor in S3. Then I came across these: 4lQIUF8RnqM HlPJILl6te...
