Re: Quirks/Habits that enhance your Twin Peaks viewing experience

Gabriel, i really feel for you.. Sleep paralysis is truly TERRIFYING :( i only had it once or twice but the memory is still vivid years later. and my cousin had it like you each and every night, in fact in her case (and in many others) i believe that there's a paranormal explanation for it. hers beg...

Re: Who played bass on Season 1 OST?

From my interview with Eddy Dixon: http://twinpeaksarchive.blogspot.com/2009/05/exclusive-eddy-dixon-interview.html thanks Jerry, i read that interview before... he is talking about the "Twin Peaks Theme" (and "Falling") and as i said in my initial post, that, "Laura Palmer...

Re: Who played bass on Season 1 OST?

Hmm i dont have the record or Dvds with me to check but the upright bass sound on a few of those legendary scores always sounded completely organic and authentic to me. There are pieces on there where landrum plays the bass notes on synth but that is very noticeable and different imo.. Ill recheck t...

Who played bass on Season 1 OST?

I'm a big fan of the legendary jazz bass player Buster Williams, who was amongst other things the bassist with Herbie Hancock's excellent sextet (sometimes known as the Mwandishi band) between 1968-1973. I know that Williams is the credit bassist on the Season 2 soundtrack as well as the majority of...

Re: FIRE WALK WITH ME script

I'm not sure if the Norwegian dinner would fit in with the rest of FWWM tonally, though I certainly do like it. I think the only Missing Pieces that I'd really put back into FWWM would be: 1) Laura at the Haywards's 2) Leland glaring demonically at Laura, who's hiding in the bushes on her final nig...

Re: FIRE WALK WITH ME script

I too am very happy with the film as is, however there are a few scenes I would have included: - Laura and the ceiling fan, with the terrifying grin that slowly develops. I thought that it was more effective at showing Bob's control on her than anything else. This scene really mesmerized me as well...

Re: Eric DaRe (Leo Johnson)

i would think Leo died up in the cabin as well.. his abscense is an easy way to explain, but at the same time he would also be an easy character to bring back into the show so i wouldn't be suprised if he turned it down. also i got to say that while i liked Leo in the show he must have had one of th...

Re: the toy box

reading up on The Toy Box it sounds like an interesting movie.. i wonder if Carl's line in FWMM "it's like Uncle's day at a whore house" was a funny little nod to Garcia

Re: Hotel Room.. discussion and interpretations

do you think this would have been able to hold up as an actual series over several episodes? while i love the two short films we got from Lynch i doubt the format would hold up over many more episodes.. have anyone read the third play Gifford wrote for the series? he published it in a book with &quo...

Re: All 'On The Air' fans! Exclusive Nancye Ferguson interview!!

this is, excuse me, a damn fine interview.. i'm late to the party but as i recently rewatched the entire series i found it very interesting. the most interesting part of this interview for me is the revelation about Mark and David's roles on this project.. Ruth Trueworthy was one of the main charact...

Hotel Room.. discussion and interpretations

I couldn't find a thread on "Hotel Room" through a search on this forum so i hope i'm not overlooking an already existing one. I've just finished rewatching On The Air and then Hotel Room following a Twin Peaks marathon, and i must say that Hotel Room is a great piece of work by David and ...

Re: All 'On The Air' fans! Exclusive Nancye Ferguson interview!!
