Re: Robert Engels or Harley Peyton
Probably Peyton because he gave Albert his best lines, and because Episode 3 just might be my favourite ep outside of the Lynch-directed episodes. Very disciplined in terms of character coverage and thematically focused, if a tad anti-climactic. Bobby and Jacoby have some of their finest moments her...

Dern also seems to have a substantial role due to her long working relationship with Lynch. I doubt she would be present at the TCA event if it was a very small part.
Also, Club Silencio looks like the Red Room?

When we're talking about cable networks, does 2 hours really mean that or is it 90 minutes like in network TV?

Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017
I don't want a trailer. I look forward to it being all brand, spankin' new! I agree. Naturally, I'd watch the trailer if it was out, but I'm enjoying the secrecy. The latest X-Files "event" was partially ruined for me due to so much footage being released beforehand. Some key dialogue sce...

Yep. Somehow I highly doubt that the new series will shine more light on the adventures of Dougie Milford for instance.

Not to stir the pot or anything, but in my mind - it kinda already is.

Denise is the only new character post-Leland I found to be interesting and compelling to watch.

Really doubt it. This is probably like the "Fight the Future" tagline for the first X-Files movie. Used in marketing everywhere, not visible in the movie itself.

The Ben/Josie confrontation is the only time I find Chen to be really convincing in the role of somebody who is supposed to be this duplicitious femme fatale.
Still makes me wonder how Isabella Rossellini would fare with this role.

Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017
This could still only be a Showtime marketing title and not the Lynch-favoured one. Lynch has so far exclusively called it just "Twin Peaks". Frost has on the other hand used "season 3" in a number of occasions. I somehow doubt "The Return" will be in the opening credit...

Very curious, in fact even more excited about the newcomers, since so much acting talent is involved. Especially interested in what Naomi Watts, Laura Dern, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Tim Roth and Tom Sizemore bring to the table.

Evelyn has more screentime than Harold Smith, Philip Gerard, Gordon Cole or Jacques Renault?
That is scary.

Re: is there any other show that even comes close to your obsession with TP?
For me, that third season of Hannibal is where the show really comes through on Fuller's stated goal of telling a Hannibal Lecter story in the style of David Lynch. The character motivations and the story are increasingy absurd, but the mood is incredible. I agree. Season two is more consistent, bu...
