Hannibal is a must-see, the most visually striking show on TV. I thought it ended on a perfect note and I don't think it's necessary to move the story beyond that point.

I think the new X-Files would have fared much better if it didn't begin and end on such an awful note. Chris Carter has become a truly terrible writer. But Darin Morgan's episode was brilliant and certainly the best episode since season 7 at least.

The Wire and The X-Files, although the latter is more of a bittersweet, nostaglic feeling of a first pop culture obsession that went down the drain due to increasingly insipid writing in the show's later years. The former is the closest to perfection the TV format got so far in my humble opinion.

How about his "colorful" description of the Black Lodge?

Just because something is ambiguous, doesn't mean that every explanation and interpretation is equally valid or interesting, or corroborated by enough evidence from the show/movie itself. I don't think anybody here stated that Leland is alone on this. But to think the opposite is just way too simpli...

Lynch is unequivocally implicating Leland every step of the way. The demonic possession angle is clearly a wash-your-hands routine that makes the viewer (and some of the writers on the show) clean the slate. Which is why it was so cringe-worthy to see all the EW journalists go about it like it's gos...

No surprise there! As I've stated before, I think this is going to be his Fire Walk With Me in terms of performance intensity and the emotional arc for the character.
