Re: RE: Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

Saw some shots from Frost on set with Lynch obviously during filming of last episode, Frost said he was only on set that day they were filming his father. Does anyone else get the feeling that Lynch just went on this self righteous art trip when no one else was around, and no one saw the final thin...

"Critics Notebook: How 'Legion' scooped 'Twin Peaks' as 2017's Weird Show to Watch"

In hindsight, I'd say the author of this article feels they were a bit shortsighted in their bold proclamation.

Re: Part 7 - There's a body all right (SPOILERS)

This may have been discussed already, but did anyone notice that one of the bysatnders that gathers around Dougie and Janey after the Ike fight was missing his left arm? It was mentioned on a podcast I listen to, and I just rewatched the scene to confirm it (it isn't Gerard/Mike). May be nothing, bu...

• Did the Trailer Park not move? It's called the "New" Fat Trout Trailer Park. If it didn't move, does that mean every morning Carl drives from Deer Meadow in Oregon into Twin Peaks, Washington just to enjoy that park and a coffee? The fact that you think Deer Meadow is in Oregon shows th...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

Anyway, I like the show and follow it with interest, but being honest with myself, it IS a "like the show for what it is." Yeah, my issue all along has been that it's felt like a 'Lynchworld' TV show, featuring Twin Peaks. Ep 7 was the first time I really felt I was watching a new episode...

Not quite as correct.

That would have been an enjoyable scene too, though.

Did anyone else think that the piece of flesh left on Ike's gun looks a lot like the mystery flesh found in Hastings' trunk?

I did. Most effective use of music for the series so far, IMO. Also interesting to hear Laura's Theme playing while Andy was waiting on his meeting.

What's the deal with all the cocaine flowing through this show? It was in the original show, but that was a long time ago. I may be out of touch with what the kids are into today, but hasn't cocaine been superseded by heroin, meth and oxycontin as far as the drugs of choice? I realize that the poin...

Re: Episode 5 Character Parentage Poll (Spoilers )

I'm pretty torn on this, all ideas have some merit. Jerry because it would give him a bigger role in the narrative. Audrey because the idea of her having this child with Mr. C is chilling (this being John Justice Wheeler's child would be less interesting) But ultimately I voted Ben because I like t...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

Episode five was the first episode I've enjoyed first watch. I don't know if it's because I've lowered my expectations and decided to roll with it, or just come to accept (even like?) whatever this thing is. . I think it's interesting that plenty of people who had nothing but praise for the first 4...

Re: NON SPOILERS: Twin Peaks: Season 3 on Showtime Thread

Looks like Showtime just threw Part 1 up on YouTube for free. Weird, looks like the TV-14 version of the episodes were removed from YouTube and FB? Anyone save these because I have some friends that would prefer to watch the TV-14 versions. They will probably be back up before too long. I think the...
