Re: "Moving Through Time" - usage in FWWM

Errr... How do you mean instrumental breakdown? I am a musician so I'll give it a go anyway.. It starts with TP's iconic vibraphone until the drums (brushed), double bass, piano and cello kick in. The vibraphone basically lays down a very steady atmosheric melody, while the piano and cello jam toget...

Re: Above the convenience store: Scene Analysis

Jasper, I also have no idea whether there's a connection.

I personally don't like to give one specific meaning to Lynch's work, as I believe it was never intended that way. All of the great aesthetics are open to multiple interpretations if you ask me.

Re: "Moving Through Time" - usage in FWWM

What? It's played during the scene in which Laura see's the angel dissappearing, writing in her diary on bed and taking coke the last evening she's alive. It's prominently featured! It's truly my favorite piece in all of the TP soundtrack, it's so hauntingly beautiful. I think really, really, good t...

Re: Above the convenience store: Scene Analysis

During some TP browsing sessions I found some theories regarding the jumping man being a representation of a Heyoka, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heyoka Heyoka are thought of as being backwards-forwards, upside-down, or contrary in nature. This manifests by doing things backwards or unconventionall...

Re: How will Sheryl Lee fit into the new series? (SPOILERS)

^- The vibe Lynch will be setting as a director won't have that much effect on the script that he and Frost wrote together, at least not for a major plotline like Laura's story could be.

Re: How will Sheryl Lee fit into the new series? (SPOILERS)

I believe Laura's (true) spirit is in the white lodge, which is portraited at the end of FWWM.

Her appearance will be in dream-like scenario's, maybe Maddy's as well.

Laura Palmer is dead.

Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/

Yeah, who knows we're getting another fictional autobiography of a new protagonist, maybe a couple. The amount of merch, extras and goodies we'll be getting probably depends on how popular the new season will be. I'm also betting we'll have loads of cool stuff heading our way through the interwebs :D

Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/

But what are chances there'll be any spoilers? I mean pretty much every spoiler we have on S3 leaked through the production process. We won't be able to have any information on Frost's writing process through leaks. Is it common for book reviews appear before the actual release? I wouldn't know sinc...
