Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

Showtime renewed "I'm Dying Up Here" for season 2. It ran after Twin Peaks this summer and had even worse ratings than Twin Peaks. It was probably a lot cheaper to produce, though it is set in '70s which certainly takes some money to recreate. So Showtime could be open to a season 4 based ...

Re: The deceased dugpa spoiler thread's partial mirror

From Jerry Horne: A local business owner told me that a film crew shot in the middle of the night of a man on a horse on train tracks removing and putting his hat on/off repeatedly. Unknown who was filming but there you go. Whatever happened to this? Nevermind. Looks like it was answered: 8. Filming...

There was also Heidi, the woman with the dog in Ruth Davenport's apartment building, Senorita Dido, and maybe Rebekah Del Rio.

Re: Part 17 - The past dictates the future (SPOILERS)

It seems that Eddie Vedder is good friends with Laura Dern which is what brought him in.

Re: Part 17 - The past dictates the future (SPOILERS)

The only thing missing from the Bob takedown scene was Nadine. She could have shown up with her golden shovel and used her super strength to bash the Bob ball with. Maybe she and Freddie could have kept hitting Bob back and forward between each other until he was destroyed.

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

I think a big problem with The Return is due to Lynch's fascination with Laura Dern and Naomi Watts. This necessitated them getting the biggest female parts over any of the returning females. Lynch then had to make them both love interests for Cooper, who has long been described as representing Lync...

Re: Part 18 - What is your name? (SPOILERS)

So might we get a reason now why Ontkean dropped out? Did he possibly get to read the whole script and changed his mind? He would have had probably just the single scene with Kyle in 17 and thought it just wouldn't be worthwhile? Ontkean would have had plenty of scenes...L/F wouldn't have asked him...

Re: Part 18 - What is your name? (SPOILERS)

Julee Cruise should be pissed. Look at all those other acts that we had to sit through that got to perform a whole song. Now we get the one we've been waiting for and it was maybe 30 seconds or so. Even James got to do his whole song!

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

Doesn't Twin Peaks have a small airport? Isn't that where John Justice Wheeler's plane was? Why not take the Mitchum brothers' plane to that airport? Or was that supposed to be Spokane that Pete took Audrey to?

I don't think I've heard this theory. How could he be a figment of two different people's imagination? I'm pretty sure that Bobby, and possibly Becky, reacted to Red showing up at the Double R.

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

I hope there's a scene in the next 2 hours where Lucy catches Cooper up on everything that's happened in Twin Peaks in the past 25 years, similar to the scene in the season 2 premiere.

But these sorts of assumptions are obviously unjustified because who can say with any authority what looks realistic or "proper" in a fictional dimensional space like the Black Lodge? The closest authorities are Lynch and Frost. What about the effects done for Sarah Palmer removing her fa...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

Maybe someone else brought this up, but the shot of the empty chair in Cooper's hospital room seemed to have the same composition as in FWWM when Jeffries disappears and his empty chair is shown.
