Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

Does Jerry not know how to use binoculars? It seems like he was still able to recognize the people he saw through them though.

Re: Poll: Lynch's David Bowie/Jeffries Workaround

It seems like they could have changed the Jeffries material to be Chet Desmond instead. Chris Isaak is still around and completely willing to work with DL again. I suppose the stuff about Judy and calling out Cooper will be important to the story. They could have had Chet Desmond say he met with Jef...

Re: Part 15 - There's some fear in letting go (SPOILERS)

As an aside -- when I re-watched, it amazed me how much cake he was eating. I was gonna feel badly for Janey-E if feeding him all these sweets, and I doubt he's working out or such, ruins that manly physique she's been getting used to! Yeah, with all this food he's eating, is he able to properly cl...

Re: Part 15 - There's some fear in letting go (SPOILERS)

Not specifically related to this episode, but if Chet Desmond was part of the Blue Rose task force, what was he doing busting hookers on a school bus in North Dakota? Shouldn't he have been looking for Jeffries or something?

https://www.theringer.com/2017/8/24/16200908/joker-origins-logan-lucky-david-nevins-twin-peaks-podcast So Nevins basically said that the "evolution of the arm" was in the original script that Lynch and Frost turned in. I thought that was a last minute replacement when MJA didn't work out....

So the Great Northern just lost two of their security crew. How many more security people do they have to take up the slack? Will Ben flip out? Does he realize that Laura's old boyfriend now works for him?

Re: Part 15 - There's some fear in letting go (SPOILERS)

I can't imagine the old Dale Cooper fitting in very well on this new show. Cooper was always proactive (except maybe in parts of season 2). He wouldn't fit in with the Cole's team who just sit around talking now and wasting time. I'm afraid they wouldn't be able to write snappy dialogue for Cooper l...

Re: NON SPOILERS: Twin Peaks: Season 3 on Showtime Thread

Also, that TVLine blurb is poorly written -- it seems to imply that there IS "inarguable entertainment value" in every episode, but I'm pretty sure that wasn't the intent. What they're saying is that they're not getting entertainment value in every episode and that they shouldn't have to ...

Re: NON SPOILERS: Twin Peaks: Season 3 on Showtime Thread

TVline put Twin Peaks as one of the "losers" of summer. http://tvline.com/gallery/summer-tv-winners-losers-2017/#!9/part-7-2/ LOSER: Twin Peaks: The Return Showtime touts subscribers gained via the revival’s arrival; we see sometimes barely 200,000 making it a priority to watch in real tim...

Re: Part 15 - There's some fear in letting go (SPOILERS)

So was there any point to the whole Cooper's Great Northern key story? It seems that it's not going to be relevant in helping the FBI or the sheriff's department with anything. Will there be any pay off? Hopefully Harry gets it (on screen?) and that triggers something.

Re: Part 15 - There's some fear in letting go (SPOILERS)

Is there any chance that Showtime will start selling a Phillip Jeffries standee from the new season now? Or at least a Funko Pop figure?

Re: NON SPOILERS: Twin Peaks: Season 3 on Showtime Thread

Except it doesn't air against Game of Thrones anymore. I guess you could say that some people turn on HBO an hour before GoT starts just waiting for the new episode.

Re: Part 15 - There's some fear in letting go (SPOILERS)

Maybe Cooper will end up looking for Annie once everything has settled. Wouldn't he still have feelings for her? Or did 25 years of being trapped make him forget about her? They could have a double wedding: Ed/Norma and Dale/Annie.
