Re: The deceased dugpa spoiler thread's partial mirror

I thiought this was interesting: UnderTheSycamores: [Oct 07] Well I went over to the Palmer house and they are indeed in full shooting mode there today, all the cast, crew, and equipment trailers are lining a side street and I spotted a tent right in front of the house. Couldn’t get close as they ha...

Re: FINAL POLL!!!!!!! Your Reaction to The Return as a Complete Work

Where are the clichés? I didn't notice any. Where was the fan service? I didn't see any. Where was the originality? In every blinking moment! From someone who is pained by conventional plotting and storytelling, I bow down to this creation. I know the source, I know the pedigree, I trust appreciatio...

Re: Part 18 - What is your name? (SPOILERS)

Part 18 was a masterpiece. Part 17 was nice except for the Fantastic Four remake. I was afraid of Freddy's "destiny," but now I need not fear the inevitable, I can fast forward through it. :D Good job Freddy! James was also awesome the way he held those shoulders. (Actually, I am in awe, a...

Re: Part 18 - What is your name? (SPOILERS)

I love all these comments. “That was excruciating.” “ That was the worst episode of TV ever. “ There is no question in my mind that that was one of the most riveting hours of TV I have seen., and I’ve seen plenty. The only thing that would have disappointed me would have been “plot development” and ...

My wife could not watch that scene because it was so disconcerting. (She kept wanting me to turn down the volume as if that would help, lol). Yet you think it was ludicrous? It's a wide world of wonder, that's for sure.

Re: Part 18 - What is your name? (SPOILERS)

I'm old enough to appreciate the thing for what it is and not look for something that isn't there. Episode 18 reminded me of episode 29. I was almost drolling.

Re: Candie, Mandie, and Sandie

The three muses delight every time they are on screen. Time will tell, but they are in contention for the most indelible characters of The Return. (In my opinion. :D ). I hope they fulfill their destiny and inspire the Mitchum brothers to do great things.

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

Ok, I've been wondering about this all week. So the Diane we've met was manufactured by the doppleganger so he could use her years later to inform on the FBI? The reason she got involved with the case was because Dopplecoop got himself caught to be at the same prison as Ray, which alerted Cole and ...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

I hope there's a scene in the next 2 hours where Lucy catches Cooper up on everything that's happened in Twin Peaks in the past 25 years, similar to the scene in the season 2 premiere. That will be part 17. Just Lucy rambling on for 50 minutes. I wish there were 19 part just for this! That wo...

Re: The Return - too many redudant storylines?

Has DL lost his mojo? Would be interested to hear your thoughts. DL can create "realistic" scenes (as in artificially dramatic, artificially tense, artificially scarey, etc). See the audition scene in MD for an example. Thank God there is little of that in The Return. I just watched a das...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

The first time I watched MD I was wondering about all the "open threads," but now it feels like I am watching a very straighforward story. Hopefully we will see that in TPTR, excepting some season 4 loose ends.
