Re: Food in Season 3, and the Last Supper

Getting ready for tomorrow. No more Mr. Strawberry for dessert, I just had to have some of that delicious looking chocolate cake Dougie seems to be eating with little emotion or enjoyment. In honor of poor Hutch, a "Too Little Too Late" Chocolate Cake: Drama Chocolate Cake.jpg And we also ...

You left off the final effect. Fade to black.

Because if that was the case they could have acheived much more realistic effects with freeware and an intern.

Re: Food in Season 3, and the Last Supper

Great ideas! I’ve been thinking about ways to use Cheetos (maybe some caramel Cheetos would go well while watching the show, but we’ll be stuffed by then), but not the dog leg. . . ewe. This won’t be as ambitious as 18 episodes, but for a family Sunday dinner for just the four of us, it compares in ...

Food in Season 3, and the Last Supper

I'm having a hard time coming up with the meal for next Sunday, finale day. Food has never been too prominent in the show, other than the obvious coffee, cherry pie and donuts, but I managed a good meal for the premier of season 3 with takes on coffee donuts, baguettes and brie, creamed corn, aspara...

I'm more interested in where you think the lazy plotting is. If it is typical of the show, as you say, I haven't noticed it.

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

I'm sure this has been discussed a lot, but humor me as someone who only watched this episode once and didn't much like it. Mr. Cooper said that he received coordinates from three people. One would be Ray, whose coordinates obviously led to the rock. The other would be Jeffries, whose probably led ...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

Hmmm, worth considering when I'll be having my second viewing of MD, I guess. Here's another (rather recent) flick that deals with "the dark side of the dream factory" extensively and feverishly - David Cronenberg's Maps to the Stars. What an excellent piece of work! Thanks for this rec! ...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

According to the Wiki, Cooper was 35 when he was assigned to the Laura Palmer case. If the little boy were, say, 10 years old when he 'caused a reflection' then DoppelCoop could be 25 at that point, i.e. 25 years older than Richard. Yes. Thank you. It amuses me how many people here assume Mark Fros...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

We'll find out (maybe), but it could be that Richard was sent through an "electrical outlet" and is in the lodge. The look on Mr. C's face seems to me like, "darn, this is a dead end." In other words, it was a trap (or permanent portal) that would return him to the lodge.

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

MIght Good Coop have manufactured the Diane tulpa? He obviously knows what tulpas are and how to make them. And Diane seemed like "herself" when she muttered "Coop" and "I hope this works" when she sent Mr. C the coordinates. Setting a trap? (Sorry if this was previous...
