Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017

yes i read what i considered a pretty major spoiler on this thread the other day and was a little sad about it, so i am glad it was addressed. however, i can see where others might not have even thought it was important. considering how much info is out there it is understandable. there were also a ...

i like where it says not to post anything vulgar or obscene and then says "or GTFO".

just so cool.

Re: Twin Peaks fan = horror fan?

no, saturn's child - i wasn't aware of "the woods" but will definitely check it out. thanks for the heads up! and yes to this being the right time to be into twin peaks. there were some cool filmmakers on the masters of horror anthology. i remember the joe dante and argento epis very well!

Re: Official Thread - Twin Peaks - Jan 13 - Kyle Returns Promo

i agree. i went back and watched epi 29 again last night, and the reddish color of the road seems conistent with the road to glastonbury grove when windom pulls up with annie. if that is the case, then to me, that would imply the good dale. but i'm just speculating of course.

Re: Twin Peaks fan = horror fan?

goodnight mommy is definitely a very strong film. i think a lot of people were disappointed in the babadook...but i enjoyed it nevertheless. i probably would have liked it more had i not read so many reviews. i agree about slasher movies...most are truely awful. then again, i find very "bad&quo...

Re: NON SPOILERS: Twin Peaks: Season 3 on Showtime Thread

actual footage or not, the apparent locale and seeing him emerge from darkness certainly implies a lot. although really not unexpectedly so.

also, after seeimg KM in so many things since, his expression and bearing are pure cooper. it's so cool seeing him in character again!

the toy box

a few years ago i was perusing the dvd section of tower recrds and going thru the rack devoted to releases from mike vraney's wonderful seattle-based "something weird video" company. i came across a dvd of a movie called " the toy box" originally released in 1971. when i saw that...

Re: Twin Peaks fan = horror fan?

i like it, especially if it is either very well done, or, very poorly done. and when a film is able to be both, that is truely amazing to me which is probably why jack hill's "spider baby" (1967) is maybe my favorite movie. tim lucas, in video watchdog, made a good case i think that fwwm i...

Re: NON SPOILERS: Twin Peaks: Season 3 on Showtime Thread

thanks for your response. i won't mention that notorious website again. respectfully, i just thought some of it might be considered spoiler for those who have not read the secret history but are dtill planning to do so. i just thought that for us newbies here who, like myself, have read the book and...

Re: NON SPOILERS: Twin Peaks: Season 3 on Showtime Thread

i am really enjoying reading posts here. also hooray, audrey! one question however: is posting about info on imdb considered inappropriate for this thread? i'll admit it had been awhile since i looked at the twin peaks 2017 page there, so this may be old news to some, plus i am aware imbd info chang...

Re: NON SPOILERS: Twin Peaks: Season 3 on Showtime Thread

i can live without between epi previews and definitely without " next on"s. but i can't help but imagine what a season 3 epi 1 "previously on twin peaks" would look like.

Re: Your ideal Twin Peaks videogame

i don't hate ben horne. i like his character, and i like richard beymer too. his home movie reverie is a favorite part of season 2 to me. however, i did enjoy doc hayward's rather unexpected pounding of him. the mention of combat just made me think of it. there really isn't that much "combat&qu...
