Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017

BTW, why are we still calling this Season 3? The makers and Showtime have consistently called this an 18 hour movie, presented in parts. They've have declined to label the individual hours as 'episodes'. Wouldn't it be more accurate to call it the sequel movie to the series and FWWM? They can all c...

Re: Twin Peaks Reunion in Entertainment Weekly

I like the pictures from the photo shoot and I bought a copy of the magazine (RR version) and read the article. I'm curious....is the theme of the photo shoot a typical "EW Reunion" type of shoot in that it shows us characters from the original show as we remember them, though obviously a...

Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017

I haven't seen any comment that it will resemble like Inland Empire. If you're referring to comments posted on this forum, you must've been dozing a lot when browsing through it. There most certainly were comments with that exact claim/prediction or with a claim/prediction very closely to that effe...

Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017

I think it's extremely likely. That's the point. That's why he's revived it. An exact Lynch quote "I love Twin Peaks and it's world." As far as it resembling Lost Highway...how? Because Coop walks out of a shadow and there are nught shots? Then it resembles Blue Velvet too. I don't even k...

His front teeth look very yellow in the video

Aslo the colouring uner his eyes. Makeup isn't concealing it.

So what? They've all aged, it's what human beings do.

Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017

I'm just glad that, as I'd always thought, this looks like Twin Peaks. It was always pretty hard for me to figure out why so many fans were expecting it to resemble Inland Empire or have a radically different tone, or any number of wacky theories I've seen the last couple of years. We all knew what...

Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017

The blue rose, the pies. Nadine and Big Ed look haunted, just amazing. The Double R girls are STILL sexy. Mr. Lynch is the only person I know of that still makes smoking cigarettes look cool. I've had goosebumps for thirty minutes now, ha ha.

Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017

Just read that great article and backread these pages. While I love mostly everything Lynch has done with the exception of Inland Empire and I'm sure I'll love this new Twin Peaks I will be slightly disappointed if the show isn't at least closly the same. I get people assuming this will automatical...

Great interview from new GQ. A few small nuggets about season three, but no spoilers. Feel free to merge elsewhere if more appropriate.

Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017

Well there wouldn't be much diversity in a town like Twin Peaks. I could see more Native American characters, but there aren't a lot of blacks in rural Washington.
