Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

It’s so odd to me that most fans seem to be putting a time limit on the possibility of a S4. TR was a gift none of us could have predicted, decades after the original show ended with no hope of return, and it was a one-off. The only takeaway for me is, anything is possible. You must be well aware t...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

Story-wise, they could tie up some loose ends, such as the missing agent Desmond. The way S3 ended left a clear open possibility of Richard and Carrie continuing their pursuit of a way out or back, but that then would be an expectation, and we've seen what S3 did to expectations. And here is why I ...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

How long before any of you lose hope for a fourth season? This April? 2021? 2025? For me, if nothing is announced by the 30th anniversary on 4/8, I would have a hard time believing it will come back. But what precedent is there for an announcement on any anniversary? We had season 3 announced back ...

Agent Earle - please provide photo evidence of your claims. Lynch has not looked exactly healthy now for about 15 years or more anyway.

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

I'd rather see Cooper now with some grey hair, if they went in a more realistic direction and everything wasn't a dream like in The Return. In a dream you never age, always have dark black hair and pale skin - isn't that a fact?

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

I hear both too. Frost continuing his answer with talking about the 50 hours of Twin Peaks there are now is him being positive and a natural progression of the answer - a good way of speaking about the show without confirming that they would definitely like to continue the story. However, him talkin...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

He's clearly keeping something to himself. Yeah, there's plenty of Twin Peaks in existence but the desire for a continuing story is something Frost understands only too well.

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

Lord have mercy. I was hoping to see more discussion regarding the Frost book and his comments as mentioned earlier but people are still posting here about the Oscars.

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

I've just read 'Conversations with Mark Frost' by David Bushman. I don't want to quote the book or spoil anything as everybody should read it, and hopefully I'm wrong, but if someone forced me to try and predict if the show was coming back based on Frost's words, I'd say no. Of course anything can ...

Re: General Discussion on the New Series (All Opinions Welcome)

Well, I definitely don't know anything that anyone else doesn't know. I'm just trying to read the tea leaves (or coffee grinds) while hoping for a happy outcome. We all hope for a happy outcome :D but I think the exec. producer is about the last person you would ask if you wanted to know the truth ...

Re: Carrie Page and Last Temptation of Christ thoughts (spoilers 4 Last Tempt.)

Have you seen The Last Temptation of Christ? Cooper isn't going to stand at the Palmer house cracking jokes about penguins. There is room to dream of some religious thoughts regarding Twin Peaks but I think you should try looking into other religions and spiritual thought. Have a look at Martha Noch...

The comic-con appearances can't be contractual. I suppose they choose to appear.

Why would they be announcing any news at a Twin Peaks event which has nothing to do with Twin Peaks? WHAT THE HELL?!

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group

Lynch himself mentions ‘sowing corn’ when you intent to reap wheat immediately after the story about his high school sweetheart Judy who he discovered during FWWM had killed herself - it isn’t dwelt upon, and the context of the statement isn’t confirmed, but I believe personally it indicates he’s a...
