Re: Part 10 - Laura is the one (SPOILERS)

Someone mentioned something about the Black Lodge and Mexico. I am racking my brain to know what you're talking about. Anyone else know? I have no memory of that Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Tammy, Albert and Gordon were talking about cell pings, and included verbiage about pings from Philly ...

Re: Part 10 - Laura is the one (SPOILERS)

Just incredible. Her performance gave me chills. So great. I've been mildly positive on most of the roadhouse music scenes, but this is one of the few, to my mind, that matches the beauty and power of Julee Cruise in the original run and FWWM. I also love that it binds together Twin Peaks and Mulho...

Re: Part 10 - Laura is the one (SPOILERS)

I literally know nothing of Gardenback except for the AFI script and plans to do that before Eraserhead. I've never known details. That's why I asked. Thanks for clarifying, even if it's really just pointing out (what I should have recognized as obvious) that its a creature with a "garden back...

Re: Part 10 - Laura is the one (SPOILERS)

anyone else almost think candy was a spirit or ghost until she actually slapped one of the mitchums? Yyyyyup. And I thought it was pretty funny, given how freaking hard she smacked him. It was no slap-stick hit. The ensuing weeping and wallowing was rather less amusing. I like the way the actor pla...

Re: Part 10 - Laura is the one (SPOILERS)

I'll need to rewatch and have a good look at it, but it reminded me of the little I know about an old, old Lynch screenplay called "Gardenback", I think. Care to elaborate? Not much to say, really, and I could well be wrong -- on first viewing, the picture looked like an animal with trees...

Re: Part 10 - Laura is the one (SPOILERS)

Forgive me if someone already mentioned this, but that drawing Gordon was doing on the coffee table, with the moose/antlered animal... it looks like a painting in the Palmer living room! I think it's shown in multiple episodes but I want to say it was shown prominently in the scene with the Louis A...

That Rebekah Del Rio song was incredible. Just incredible. Her performance gave me chills. So great. "Are you my friend?"

If people are speculating that Albert may be dirty (I don't think he is), perhaps that that scene, superimposed over Albert, has Cole asking Albert the same question.

Re: Part 10 - Laura is the one (SPOILERS)

Who knew Jan D'arcy would get one of the best scenes in the series so far. Very Clockwork Orange. Yeah, that's exactly what I felt. Exactly the same kind of helpless nausea. And poor Becky. And poor lady in the pretty little caravan whose name escapes me. There was some serious nastiness in this pa...

Re: Part 9 - This is the chair (SPOILERS)

a dude running into a wall. A couple of people mentioned that it was like Ben Horne's injury in ep. 29, but it reminded me of Madeleine's fate, too. With Coop's bathroom mirror scene, that makes four folks in TP who've smashed their heads into walls. Lynch sure likes his head injuries, but this par...

Re: Part 9 - This is the chair (SPOILERS)

Actually, if you look closely, Hastings dates the Briggs picture "9/29". The "9" does kind of look like a zero at first glance...so I guess Buckhorn scenes are in the same timeline as the Twin Peaks scenes. I assume Bill wrote 9/29 rather sloppily, as that would be the day the r...

Re: Part 9 - This is the chair (SPOILERS)

Also, the Buckhorn coroner is my favorite new character. I love her. Yeah, I really enjoy her, too. Is she making eyes at Albert? I assumed Albert was "indisposed" because he was spending quality time with Constance. Sparks were definitely flying between those two. I love her, she is a pe...

They both love jokes and the series is going to end with their wedding, which Major Briggs foresaw.
Unfortunately, they can't find the ring, because Major Briggs ate that one, too.
