Re: Part 14 - We are like the dreamer (SPOILERS)
when andy showed up with the fireman, i yelled "holy sh t" at the tv lol. Was there ever a publicity shot of Andy hanging out in the Fireman's man-cave? I steadfastly avoided spoilers of any kind, but I kind of felt a sense of deja vu the moment I saw him. Was there a still or something?

Re: Part 13 - What story is that, Charlie? (SPOILERS)
I rarely post before a re-watch, but thoughts: - the spotlight made me SO nervous. foreshadowing? Trolling? - Fusco totally makes the connection to Cooper, but trashes it. Classic trolling. - which boxing match is that? Could it be Dougie's boss? Whether or not it's a time loop something is happeni...

Re: Part 13 - What story is that, Charlie? (SPOILERS)
Another instance of toying with expectations was the Roadhouse announcer. He previously appeared before a major act, and when I saw him I thought that we might be seeing Eddie Vedder earlier than expected. Instead it was James Hurley singing Just You. Audacious, and pretty hilarious. "The Road...

Re: Part 13 - What story is that, Charlie? (SPOILERS)
* I wasn't totally convinced about the Audrey coma theory last week, but this episode carries some suggestion that she's trapped in her own mind in some way. Dementia from the bank explosion seems probable to me. How else would she not know how to get to the roadhouse? Her line about wanting both t...

Re: Part 13 - What story is that, Charlie? (SPOILERS)
Maybe that's all James Hurley is: the evil that men do. Standing ovation. And I didn't even mind him showing up again for a spot of crooning. It led beautifully up to Ed's final scene over the credits. No music, just the sound of passing cars. What a scene. Funny that that scene lives in the ...

Re: Part 13 - What story is that, Charlie? (SPOILERS)
7. Audrey's dialogue (don't remember it word for word) of feeling like she's somebody else and somewhere else, makes me think she has amnesia resulting from her coma, especially since she didn't remember where the Roadhouse was IIRC, Mulholland Dr -- on some level, about an amnesiac -- was original...

Re: Part 13 - What story is that, Charlie? (SPOILERS)
Wasn't it the story of the little girl who lived down the lane? Kinda made me think of IE. I might have misheard it because I don't have captions on, but if it is indeed lane instead of lake, I definitely see the Inland Empire vibes there too It's from the nursery rhyme, "Baa Baa Black Sheep.&...

Re: Part 12 - Let's rock (SPOILERS)
Well, I know my vernacular and so does the Oxford English Dictionary, so I regretfully need to inform you, that you are wrong. https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/gotta The OED documents all kinds of misuses of the English language. It also contains an entry for "could care less"...

Re: Part 12 - Let's rock (SPOILERS)
It's standard spelling for the short-hand vernacular usage of "Have you got a light?" But it's not short hand - that was my point. "Gotta go" = "Got to go". That's a contraction. When people speak, they don't enunciate the word "to". "Got a light" i...
