Strange that Coopleganger and Hastings have the same birthday: 8/15/73. Which should be way too young for Coop. That would make him 16 in 1989.

True! Good find. I would think that the producer had decided a credible date for Coop's birthday.

Re: Parts 3 + 4 (SPOILERS)

Date on a wrist watch , but no year Only dates I could find... BadCoop's arrest form. Date is 9/22 but no year. If form follows the typical dash type it's 2010, which would explain why TP has a laptop and not a tablet. Didn't Bad Coop use a tablet-laptop combo though when hacking into the FBI (i.e....

Parts 3 + 4 (SPOILERS)

I noticed that none of them has a registration/inspection speaker. I also noticed that no one seems to be using smartphones in Dougie timeline. The killers use walkie talkies TSHOTP book/dossier is presented to Agent TP after a crime scene in July of 2016. This makes me wonder about wondering about...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

The only thing that actually bothers me, so far, is the lack of music in all scenes. Sure, many themes were majorly overplayed in the original but the stark silence has been tough to overcome. It makes every scene feel like we are watching a stage play. I didn't sign up for a stage play. Sent from ...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

Like someone else said, the revival of Laura Palmer, does feel like torturing a character who was mercifully put to rest, and dragging her back into unnecessary pain. Lynch really should have let Laura go this imo I completely disagree with this. Laura is and will always be fundamental for the stor...

Parts 3 + 4 (SPOILERS)

Ok, it just hit me... but I think that we know now the reason behind the behavior of this guy. It also explains his "I'm so sorry" line. https://static01.nyt.com/images/2017/05/01/watching/01twinpeaks02/01twinpeaks-slide-CLAD-master768.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170524/9f7e5dc5...

Turning Lucy and Andy into complete retards? That's a step too far.

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

A few people have made this point and it's an interesting one. IF you are all right and this is a journey back to Twin Peaks maybe I'm going to end up adoring it. But right now the absolute most I would be capable of is admiration. I admire the boldness of it, I'll give that. My question then is if...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

I think the original Twin Peaks found a perfect balance for me between esoteric art and accessibility. The first series didn't always make any kind of logical sense but it was emotionally extremely coherent. This just feels lifeless and devoid of any hope. Which, I think, is Lynch's goal so far. We...

Re: Parts 1 + 2 (Spoilers)

I am wondering why Lynch chose to essentially do two cuts of the premiere? One cut for television that is two hours long with no break and another cut for streaming that separates it into two different hour long pieces complete with their own sets of credits. Essentially not a big deal but I am cur...

Re: Parts 3 + 4 (Spoilers)

I find it hilarious and amusing that people are so mad about Cera. I found it to be hilarious and immediately got what he was doing. I will say this - to play devils advocate that it would've been greatly benefited with some of that quintessential Twin Peaks jazz music that accompanied so many grea...
