Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Official Discussion Thread

Goosebumps are one thing, however, when we flash forward and see what happens to Cooper after he hits his head on his bathroom mirror, I could feel every nerve in my body standing on end. It's like the last 23 years I've been holding my breath for that scene. Take time off of work now because we wi...

Re: Epic Poem about The Missing Pieces...

I know a friend who is not watching any of the online 'Missing Pieces' deleted scenes. Really, I can entirely understand that. I'm glad CBS Paramount or whoever they are have not released anything new today. People will write up some good stuff I'm sure from the premiere, but if they just reveal eve...

Re: FWWM questions (probably asked before but what the hell)

The idea of an earlier script selling on e-bay doesn't sound very plausible. I don't think anyone has seen the Cooper in Deer Meadow with Sam Stanley version. Surely the big fan who would have seen it would be on here now writing about it with us?

Re: Laura's house for sale

Would someone be able to simply explain which house was used for the pilot episode? The same one which is shown in exterior shots throughout the series? Then in the series they were on a set of course. For FWWM, this house that is for sale was used right? However, somebody has posted in response to ...

Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Official Discussion Thread

According to that IMDB user Mat-37 who claimed to have worked on the set, there wasn't a lot of deleted stuff/outtakes from the series, almost none in fact. And I asked him specifically about the Ben killing Maddy footage and he said it won't be there :( I know he said the actors would not be in ch...

Re: The Ring

In the released film, it seems like Chet Desmond has knowledge of what to look for in this type of case, tied in with the Blue Rose status of the investigation. All that I could assume was that the green 'owl cave' ring was significant specifically due to Leland Palmer being from Twin Peaks, but tha...

Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Official Discussion Thread

Thanks Ross - you're right. It is a closer take of the LMFAP laughing. About the sets, that is fascinating because I was always under the impression all of the series ones were discarded after the show ended. In terms of the Hayward house it does look the same as the one in the series very much in d...

Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Official Discussion Thread

About one second into this new trailer (as Ben Horne says "Close your eyes!"), there's a shot of Little Mike smiling that appears to be from the "Above the convenience store" scene in FWWM. Am I right that it's not identical to footage of him we see in the movie and that is conf...

Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Discussion

MysteryMan wrote:Just found out Paramount Australia is set to release Twin Peaks: The Entire Mystery (Limited Edition) on April 30th 2014. Only 1700 copies and just the series, not the movie. Doesn't bode well... :(

MysteryMan - can I ask where you found that out, please?

Re: Twin Peaks retrospective at USC

Hey there Brie -

can you remember much that Robert Engels spoke about, in summary, please?

I'm sure there's plenty of interesting bits and bobs the spoke about in terms of discussing the show?

Re: Twin Peaks retrospective at USC

Hey there Jerry -

that's a good clear photo.

Did Robert Engels attend and can you tell us more about what was said? There must have been a similar Q and A to last time, where Frost seemed to be suggesting they're still interested in Twin Peaks creatively.

Engels has always been a good speaker.

Re: Twin Peaks retrospective at USC

Well, ok he's p-d off some cast members. But is that such a big deal?

The mention of murder - so we're supposed to believe that Lynch thinks Mike murdered another cast member? This sounds really out there.

It sounds like a movie in fact!

What's the truth about all of this?
