Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Discussion
Hey everyone, so I just conducted an interview with Ray Wise for something he's involved in unrelated to Twin Peaks for the Nerdist, which I write for-the interview won't run for a while, but I did get this bit of info out of him towards the end. He has shot something with David Lynch, along with She...

Re: New Twin Peaks Promo?
honestly, my hunch is that it's more than a commercial for the blu-ray. they keep saying "promo" but i'm translating that as their word for VAM, or value added material for the set. Most special features on DVDs are often just referred to as promotional materials by the studios. It seems o...

Right now....my money is on Mark Frost. That quote from Fangoria seems pretty non vague.Jerry Horne wrote:Who's lying? Ray Wise, Mark Frost or Fangoria?

Re: If Twin Peaks WERE to be continued/concluded in some for
hmmmm....this is a difficult one...... What about going back, say 100 years, to the time around when the town of Twin Peaks was in it's birth. The first inhabitants, with family names we already know, like Horne, Palmer, Johnson, Martell, Briggs - and some strange connections with the people we kno...

Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Discussion
SO glad they are including these...I hope everyone involved signs off on it. Those were a treasure trove for Peaks fans. Considering just how many people were involved with those q&a's, it might take awhile for everyone to sign off on them, which is why we don't yet have a release date for this ...

If Twin Peaks WERE to be continued/concluded in some form...
.....just what dangling plot thread or threads from the finale do you really want to see resolved? Or is it really just ONE thread we all care about; the ultimate fate of Dale Cooper? This is just for fun/speculation....if YOU were in charge to make this a reality, who do you think is crucial to com...

Re: New Twin Peaks Promo?
This baseless rumor is still spreading http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2535056/David-Lynch-returns-Twin-Peaks-director-begins-shooting-new-footage-beloved-cult-series.html My biggest fear is that the fans only get the series on blu-ray and nothing else happens. I'm still happy with the...

Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Discussion
Just found out Paramount Australia is set to release Twin Peaks: The Entire Mystery (Limited Edition) on April 30th 2014. Only 1700 copies and just the series, not the movie. Doesn't bode well... :( Wasn't FWWM already released on Blu-ray in Australia though? There could be a pre-existing licensing...

Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Discussion
But truthfully, the 'one light' non-color corrected workprint looked nothing like the finished film, and the production audio alone was miserable. So Dave said the only way he would approve and allow inclusion of extra scenes onto the DVD was if New Line would pay to have some new music, color corr...

Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Discussion
the ultimate extra would be that David Lynch films a "25 years later" Coda to the series. No, I don't expect it...but the rumored release date (and Mark Frost's comments last year) give me a glimmer of hope. I see something like this as far more likely than a "Season three" Marc...

Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Discussion
So let's assume we are getting Fire Walk With Me and the Deleted Scenes on this Blu-ray set (which, I can pretty much talk freely about this now I guess, two sources at CBS Home Video told me was a done deal at San Diego Comic Con last summer. I was sworn to secrecy at the time, but then one of the ...

Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Discussion
When I used to work at Blockbuster Video (RIP) in the late 90's, we would get these magazines that were order forms for video stores and other outlets to buy product months in advance. This looks like a scan from one of those. They used to be filled with typos back then too.Jerry Horne wrote:"Bly-Ray"

Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Discussion
I'm really hoping for those post-series scenes, and I'm desperately hoping for the Argentina stuff and the missing above-the-convenience-store stuff. Naturally I'd like to see as much of the deleted material as possible. What would be truly spectacular - and I know this is a major long shot - would...

I imagine if we're getting them (and I'd say it's a damn good bet we are) we will probably get them allMysteryMan wrote:So which 17 deleted scenes do you guys think we are most likely to get?
