This is one of the best things I've ever seen. And not just for the Fenn picture.

Re: What Scenes take you out of the moment or make you cringe?

The worst scene was of Albert telling Truman his mission is global & his reason is love. You people are crazy. That scene has no business even being in the top 100 of lousy Twin Peaks scenes. I generally agree with Charles, although I laugh at both Nadine and Ben's civil war scenes. Those image...

Re: Things I wish we'd seen...

Personally, I like the fact that there are hardly any flashbacks on the show. It's often much better to leave it to the imagination. The most grating example I can think of is the scene where Samantha Mulder is abducted in the second season premiere of The X-Files. I liked the story of Fox looking f...

Re: Wild at Heart French Blu-Ray

That's a shame. Are they burned in or just forced? If they're just forced, it will at least be possible to rip - without subs - into the best released version of the film. Just wondering.

I also think that would have been too Melrose Place meets Twilight Zone to really interest me.
You say that like it's a bad thing! :)

Re: Funniest moment in the series

All of Albert's scenes, especially the entirety of the opening scene of episode 9 ("don't get sentimental") and "return to your porch rockers and resume whittling." And of course his monologue in episode 10. The Gordon Cole/Dale Cooper dynamic is pure gold. "Mr. DAAAALE COOP...

Re: Let's talk changes: how would you change the second season?

Finally got to read this. Some really cool stuff here, and I think everything works. I think I'll have more to say later (really busy now), but a favourite for me right now is Shelly and Sarah with the meals-on-wheels. And I think you're right not to show it, especially when crosscutting it with the...

Re: Pre-Order the New David Lynch DVD Box - the Lime Green Set

I think the ideal buyer of this set is me and other major fans who have seen everything in theatres, video-cassettes and borrowed DVDs.

We make up about seventeen people worldwide.

Lynchnet for season one and GlastonberryGrove for season two. All the scripts minus episode 6 and 7 are there. Some REALLY interesting stuff buried deep in there.

Browse some pages back on the Twin Peaks Gazette message board (TP section) and you might find what you're looking for. I'd give you a copy myself, but I have no idea where mine is!

Re: Pre-Order the New David Lynch DVD Box - the Lime Green Set

I wouldn't trust Deep Discount or Amazon to deliver it until well into December. I'll just go with my local shop. Bizarrely, the only one of these I actually own is Wild at Heart (standard R2) - I've seen most in theatres and some on borrowed DVDs - so for me 1150 isn't too crazy for a ten-disc rele...

Re: Pre-Order the New David Lynch DVD Box - the Lime Green Set

1150 NOK is steep, but sadly about what I had in mind. Not sure you'll save much by buying it from the US if the customs get to it, though. It will be at least 1000 after taxes and fees.

The Lost Highway release is probably the new Universal R1 release converted to PAL and R2.

Re: Deleted Scenes

I'm really looking forward to this. I think Wild at Heart is too sprawling for its relatively short running time. Hopefully the deleted scenes will rectify some of this feeling for me, even if they're just a supplement. Anyway, just seeing more Willem Dafoe and Grace Zabriskie is enough for me.
