Re: Gender in Twin Peaks: The Return (SPOILERS)
I think a few people claimed that the gender discussion was off-topic, even though it was about scenes from the episode for which the thread was. Besides, there have been longer off-topic discussions about other things, but no one was bothered by that.

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
Fans constantly hijacking this thread to express bafflement over the sentiments of a dissapointed crowd is getting really tiresome. You endured through Dougie... you can certainly endure our constant invasion ;) But it's really annoying when those people always make wrong assumptions about the disa...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
Nice. I know this is the thread for the disappointed, but in a nutshell kinda way one could easily take what happened back when the music was introduced and replace it with our favorite FBI agent. At first "gimme my Cooper! I miss Cooper! This isn't Cooper!" Episode 16: Cooper back in act...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)
About the Diane/Naido connection: The "I'm in the Sheriff's station" made me think of Naido as well. But how can Naido and Diane be original and tulpa? Doesn't the tulpa always look like the original? Cooper, DoppelCooper and Dougie all looked the same and the three Lois Duffy's also looke...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)
Does anyone have a screenshot of Audrey in front of the mirror? I hear she has an Owl Cave tattoo on her arm. I just looked again and you don't see her arm when she's looking in the mirror. Is the tattoo seen at some other time? When she was dancing she did seem to have a bruise on her left arm... ...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
Wow. After the great Part 15 I was hoping we'd get three great final episodes, but Part 16 was mostly disappointing again :( - I was looking forward to the talk that Mr. C. promised Richard and then we didn't get to see that. At least Mr. C. confirmed he is Richard's father. But what I didn't get is...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)
Did the man who was throwing the bottle at the other man in the Roadhouse after Audrey's dance call him "Barney"? In Part 1, Marjorie Green said that the manager of Ruth Davenport's apartment is called Barney and "Barney's not here. He's a funny one, that Barney. He's in the hospital,...

Re: POLL: The Nature of Audrey's Situation (Spoilers)
The two men at the Roadhouse were credited as "Richard Bucher - Man Hit with Bottle" and "Scott Cameron - Throwing Man", so it wasn't Bobby or anyone else we know. However, I thought the attacker called the other man "Barney" (does anyone have subtitles for the episode ...

Re: POLL: The Nature of Audrey's Situation (Spoilers)
Yes, I mentioned this in the thread for Part 12 a while ago. There's also a staircase hidden by a veil next to one of the shelves (similar but not the same as in the convenience store).

Re: The Roadhouse scenes performances (SPOILERS)
Say what you like about how stupid the frontman may or may not act/look Who says that? I don't think there was anything stupid about it and I prefer his lively performance to the Chromatics singer's bored face. My favourite performances are: 1. The Veils - Axolotl 2. Au Revoir Simone - A Violent Ye...

Re: Who is Judy? (Spoilers)
My guesses: - the experiment/mother (I think the same or similar music is used in the "We're not gonna talk about Judy" scene from FWWM and in Sarah's grocery store scene, where we get the first hint that she is possessed) - Mrs. Chalfont (she was in the convenience store scene with Jeffri...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
I think it's unfair to say that people who are obsessed with the new series and like it are unable to see any flaws because of their obsession. Unfair really? Yes, because it seemed to me you thought their opinion of the show was less valid than ours because of their word choice (would you have cri...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
and many of us original fans who were obsessed with Twin Peaks are obsessed with the return Fans or groupies? The key word here is 'obsessed'. To be unable (or not caring) to see the huge flaws of The Return is a bit scary to say the least. I think it's a wrong assumption that being obsessed means ...
