Re: Let's talk changes: how would you change the second season?
I love the second act! Good stuff. It moves along and makes you interested in what happens next. If there's one thing I'm on the fence about, it's Catherine seeing Pete when there are other people around. I kinda like his appearances to be because of loneliness. But if you have a different, definite...

Re: The Twin Peaks Quiz Thread!
18?
Thinking aloud here... She's in the pilot, in a flashback in ep. 1, dream in ep. 2, as Maddy in 3-7 and 8-14 (I think), dead in 15 and 16, as Laura and Maddy in ep. 29. That's 18. (Maybe Maddy's absent in ep. 10 or something, but I don't think so.)

Re: What tracks could make up a TP Volume 3 Soundtrack?
Is it just me or does this make Lynch come off as pretentious? Why does he have such stubborn animosity towards the release of new Twin Peaks products? I don't get it at all. Stubborn animosity? We just got the first wholly Lynch-approved DVD set. He has been willing to release deleted Fire Walk wi...

Re: Let's talk changes: how would you change the second season?
I only have a few minutes, so I'll answer more tomorrow. A few quick thoughts... -I agree that Josie is key. You can only get so much spiritual mystery out of each character, but Josie definitely has unrealised potential. The strange house will work. Good idea. -The 25 years part can be addressed, b...

I mentioned the funeral as the first runner-up to the five.

Yay! I'm looking forward to more! (I would have posted if I'd got an idea, but I haven't had any even half-decent ones.)

Re: What's your Top 5 scenes in the series?
Good posts. All of these are classics. Mine (at least today): 1) Leland confesses in episode 11. 2) The Roadhouse scene from the pilot. Julee Cruise singing while the fight is going on is perfect. 3) Audrey wakes up from her overdose and asks for Daddy. The whole sequence is perfect. So tense it's u...

Re: Dialogue between Jones and Thomas Eckhardt in episode 22...
According to the script, it continues like this:
Eckhardt: She's become predictable.
Jones: I warned you not to trust her.
I'd guess they're saying exactly that.

Re: David Lynch vs. Werner herzog
Transcendental meditation-talk of harmony and the like aside, I don't find Herzog's and Lynch's views of life to be mutually exclusive. Keep in mind that it's the common denominator of life in wild nature he's talking about and not life among humans. Yes, his general outlook is bleaker than Lynch's ...

What?!!! Nooo, who's this douche bag in the cowboy digs and the bad wig?   This made me laugh out loud. You know which parts I agree and disagree with already. I can definitely see the disappointment about Fenn not being in Fire Walk with Me, especially if you thought so beforehand....

Sad news. A good actor and he seemed like such a nice man. I too hope he's resting comfortably in his palazzo right now.
Cool story, Kahlanmnel, thanks for sharing.
