Re: Let's talk changes: how would you change FWWM?

I would add than seeing the movie before the show kinda spoils this one.
I would not show the movie first to some friends unless I have no choice.

Edit : corrected ! :)

Blue Velvet and Wild at Heart at Noisy le grand (Fr)

Just a quick post in French as it will be easier for me and as it only concerns French people... Le cinéma "le Bijou" à Noisy le Grand organise une soirée "David Lynch" le vendredi 29 juin. A 19h : Blue Velvet A 21h30 : Sailor & Lula 10€ les deux films (possibilité de payer u...

Sourdust wrote:I agree that the scene makes no sense without the context of the series, but then again, a lot of scenes or characters in FWWM don't (Philip Gerard?).
Does the film make any sense without the show ?

I've seen it before I ever watched the series. I loved it ! But it made no sense to me at this time.

I thought I was missing something because English is not my native langage... It seems I'm not the only one. :)

Re: Gameboard about Twin Peaks ?

No pictures yet. Cards are just "playable" at this time. I have to make them look better. :)

We were 5 for the first test. The game should be ok for 4-6 players. Maybe 3 but I don't thnik it is that much interesting...

Re: Gameboard about Twin Peaks ?

Well... To keep it short, it's a card driven game in which each player makes a mission to get clues about Laura's murderer. Fact is that the murderer is amongst the players but, because of BOB, he doesn't know he's the murderer himself ! Innocent have to put him to jail and he's got to make some els...

Re: Let's talk changes: how would you change FWWM?

Yes but it is rather strange as the shirt is shown at the very begining of the show and is closely related to Jacques' death at the end of first season. How the hell could they forget that point ?! Stranger yet, part of the story told in the show is "right". Jacques says Leo hit him for fu...

Re: Let's talk changes: how would you change FWWM?

FWWM is my very favourite movie. :) I wouldn't change anything except for one major continuity problem : the Leo's bloody shirt problem as it is a main issue in the show although the movie shows something very different... I'm fine with everything else even if the movie has some other mistakes or de...

Re: Gameboard about Twin Peaks ?

First game yesterday and it rocks! :) I have to tune it and make my proto look better (hand drawn cards aren't that great) but we really had fun with a simple, fast and easy game. :) Even those who did not know anything about the game enjoyed it which is a good point of course (even if some cards as...

Re: Gameboard about Twin Peaks ?

The boardgames seem very different from my own idea. But if you have any info about the card game, it would be great. :)

Thanx for the info anyway. :)

Gameboard about Twin Peaks? Help needed!

Just a question here... Is there any gameboard about Twin Peaks (official or not) ?
I've got an idea but I don't want to waste time on it unless I'm sure it has never been done. ;)

Re: A thread of many questions

Imho... 1) Why did MIKE cut off Philip Gerard's arm? Wrong question. Philip Gerard cut off his arm to get rid off MIKE. 3) Why/how did MIKE turn Philip's arm into a sentient dwarf? The Dwarf IS MIKE. 4) Why were they all trying to stop BOB (or help Cooper stop him) if they were his pals? Laura is th...

Re: Twin Peaks can never be topped

Of course. It will be hard, even for Lynch himself, to match TP.

But there's still something magic with TP. Every time I see it, it is different. :)
