Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Official Discussion Thread
Last night was like a dream come true for me.There will be detailed description of each of the scenes coming from me via an article I'm writing for the Nerdist that I hope gets posted within the next 24 hours. But long story short, I wasn't disappointed :-) Sounds great, I look forward to reading i...

Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Official Discussion Thread
The One-Armed man scene is in the script, but the new Norma/Ed pic is another unscripted scene, correct? (I do have to say I loved the RR sets from the series much more than the real diner. And couldn't they throw some hair extensions on Norma?) Right?? It's weird that they bothered to give extensi...

Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Official Discussion Thread
Question for Dugpa: I was rereading your article on the deleted FWWM scenes, and noticed that it now says the following 3 scenes were not filmed: Nadine & Ed & the deer Ed & Pete Truman sings to Josie Just wondering if you recently confirmed that these weren't filmed, as I hadn't heard ...

It could be the "cast and crew" interviews that they mentioned.Jerry Horne wrote:They were meant to be included. I'm not sure this list is complete.Brie and Butter wrote:No USC panel discussions. Bummer -- those could easily fill a DVD on their own!

Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Official Discussion Thread
I am so beyond excited....I watched that trailer so many times already. 90 minutes of deleted scenes is more than I ever thought. So does anyone know what the Sneak Peaks are? They're in HD, and they seem separate from the recaps/previews. And have we determined what's missing from the Gold Box set?...

Re: If Twin Peaks WERE to be continued/concluded in some for
Has anyone thought that maybe we'll be getting a novel continuation from Mark Frost? Recently, a fan asked him on Twitter "would a novel wrapping up twin peaks be too much to ask? to which Mark Frost simply replied "No." Add to that the cryptic comments that Frost made last year about...

Re: Sherilyn Fenn - new AV Club interview
I don't want to get into it, but some thirty year old actor dating a 19, 20 year old actor is... Well, a whole lot of things. (Yeah, I get the irony that the Cooper, Audrey characters echo this... But this was a highly stylized serial in aesthetic fantasy old movie inspired/soap land, not realism.)...

Re: Sherilyn Fenn - new AV Club interview
I think it's funny they wanted her to cut her hair, because Norma has totally short hair in the movie, and then in the pilot, it's really long. So it's not like they were that adherent to hair continuity. If Audrey had long hair, you could at least theorize that she cut her hair right before the ev...

Re: Sherilyn Fenn - new AV Club interview
Read this yesterday. I really like Sherilyn, she seems very centered and has a very strong personality. I dig that. Although she does seem a little bit bitter about things from the past (Lara Flynn Boyle, FWWM "if they'd really wanted me..." ) But I guess it's understandable. Great interv...

Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Discussion
Aside from the Blu-ray set itself, I hope they release a collector's edition with goodies included. It would be so cool if they made a deal with Simon & Schuster to include a keepsake reprinting of The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer , or included the audio files from Diane...The Twin Peaks Tapes o...

Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Discussion
Fantastic news, thanks Eric. You're welcome guys. I'm just a hardcore Peaks nut like yourselves. Even though I've interviewed a few people I really admire (like Joss Whedon for example) my love of Twin Peaks predates all that, going back to when I was 15 years old in 1990. So hearing Leland's voice...

Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Discussion
Hey everyone, so I just conducted an interview with Ray Wise for something he's involved in unrelated to Twin Peaks for the Nerdist, which I write for-the interview won't run for a while, but I did get this bit of info out of him towards the end. He has shot something with David Lynch, along with Sh...
