Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017

So fellow TP fans, cast yer minds back to 2014 and 2 nuts in America simultaneously tweeted "That gum you like is going to come back in style". In the following mayhem with millions jumping up and down around the planet, Mark Frost gave an interview to buzzfeed: BF: "What is one thing...

Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017

Just googled it, it was a showtime tweet quoting David Nevins: ""Shooting starts in September," Showtime tweeted on Aug. 11. "The donut truck is loaded late August. A coffee cup will indeed come through a window. #TwinPeaks" But by saying "will indeed" is he referi...

Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017

Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017

A lot of peeps are wondering if the tone of S3 will be like FWWM or Inland Empire or just Super Dark, but we have these words straight from the horse's mouth: "Revisiting this territory, there's a freshness to it, a lightness to it," says Maclachlan in the featurette.... Interesting that h...

Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017

Hmmmmm...... Never been a binger, but the closest I've got to it is watching something in just the last few weeks. I only just discovered Guillermo Del Toro's The Strain. I totally missed it first time round in the UK and found W channel were putting one episode on every night. like 7 days a week. I...

Re: Twin Peaks: the 1991 board game.

I got my board game from Craig "Wrapped In Plastic Magazine" Miller's dad! I just read this old thread and it made me want to read the rule book which I obviously haven't done very closely so far. It's late here in the remains of Sherwood Forest and I now have 3 loooooooooong days at work ...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks

Hi all, can I ask, are the Blue Rose cases or just "Blue Rose" mentioned anywhere in the book? I have to ask because........ I read the naughty preview pages immediately on google books in the UK, then waited patiently for my amazon uk book & CDs. The book came....... WITH A TORN DUST ...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks

Hi all, Good to finally hear a bit about any of the Access guide being used/stuck to. I wonder if we have a case here of not "Oh My God, Frost made a bunch of mistakes", but shouldn't we be wondering if it is just Major Briggs that doesn't know all these family details precisely or got som...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks

In my final wait for the book (was hoping amazon uk would maybe send it out early, but not for me! - sad face) I thought I should finally track down the Access guide and now its just arrived. I just wondered if any experts among you found any inconsistencies between: the Access guide and the TV seri...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks

Hey Jerry just let me get this in, Star Wars 7 is not a reboot at all. JJ Abrams Star Trek 2009 is the Ultimate definition of a reboot. I don't need to say any more.

Re: Twin Peaks Poll - Demographic

I can't stop myself from pointing out that a poll like this is highly unscientific and not necessarily terribly reliable - we're getting responses from a self-selected minority of total people registered on the board, so the sample size is very small and possibly unrepresentative. It's fun to see t...

Re: Twin Peaks Poll - First Time

All the original British Broadcasting Corporation broadcasts! I was 21 in 1990 and in 1991 I knew a quite pretty blond girl and she still to this day reminds me a little of Laura Palmer, (so wow I have very mixed feelings about her now.....) Also, she's not dead but maybe now has a bit of tragedy go...
