Re: Leland's death/Bob

In the first episode of the second season, when they are recapping what they think happened, we see a shot of the bloody hammer at the moment when they talk about the killer hitting Ronette with a blunt object. So perhaps the hammer was always meant to be the weapon used to attack Ronette, and not L...

Re: How did you react to these turning points in Twin Peaks?

James snapping his pencil in two made me roll my eyes. He couldn't pull off actually emoting a little so he went for camp. I thought that was ok. The feeling of people reading things from clues and reacting to them in different ways was perfect. I'm always just about to cry in that scene, until Don...

Re: Leland's death/Bob

Also odd since I don't believe Bob used a knife in any of his murders that we saw(correct me if I'm wrong). Well, in the series we saw a bloody hammer in the train car. In the movie it looks to be a knife. And in the script it actually reads "Knife entering flesh" during the train car sce...

Re: How did you react to these turning points in Twin Peaks?

I was 8 years old when it first aired in Finland (it was the spring of 1991, I was born in August 1982). I saw most of the episodes. 1. The pilot This is weird. The way I remember it, is that instead of Sarah having a vision of the necklace, she remembers seeing Bob. When half of the series aired ag...

Which also leads me to think nobody from MK2 actually even watched the videos/read the claims and that this second notification may have been automated (which, to my understanding, is illegal). I mean who do they have checking videos on a Saturday night? These things are mostly automated on ...

Re: My reading of the end of Fire Walk With Me

Let's look at the scene in FWWM where Bob comes through the window and soon Laura finds out the truth about Leland: Bob is seen coming through window. Leland very unlikely comes through the window, but instead normally through the door. Here's a question: when Laura screams (both when seeing Bob wi...

Re: Episode 29

Does anyone else hear a short sample of Laura's scream when Cooper hits his head in the mirror?

To my ears, it sounds exactly as if there was a small bit cut from Laura's Doppelganger's scream in the Red Room and inserted into the moment the mirror breaks.

Or am I just hearing my own things?

Re: What are the Owls?

Does anyone know if there originally WAS supposed to be an extraterrestrial element in Twin Peaks before it was ret-conned into being a "message from the woods"? I've heard speculation that Frost liked this direction and Lynch didn't, although that would be odd given tha it seems to be al...

Re: FWWM questions (probably asked before but what the hell)

Any theories regarding the scene with Cooper checking the security camera repeatedly until he sees himself frozen on it? I always just assumed this bit was weirdness for the sake of being weird - i.e. no hidden meaning. But do you think it relates to a dream? Or to time slowing down because of Jeff...

Re: My reading of the end of Fire Walk With Me

The interesting thing about FWWM, that I'm only just starting to realize now, is that Leland's awareness of his own actions does not necessarily mean Leland is aware of Bob. In the train car, for example, I'm positive Leland doesn't see Bob at all, even when he's functioning as "just" Lel...

Re: Bob running

Oh my...

How did I ever miss this.. It even shows the EXIT sign!

It is definitely the hospital corridor. Had I just bothered to check it out more closely..... I guess this thread is pointless now :D

Oh, how I'd love to see that shot without any editing and zooming.........

Bob running

I don't know if this has been discussed here before, but here it goes... In the scene where we see Ronnette remembering Laura's murder, we see a shot of Bob running towards the camera. At first it looked like he is running in the train car, but when I watched it frame by frame, it really looked like...

Re: The Venus Statues and Their Meanings

Back in the Twin Peaks Gazette forum I tried to connect the Venus de Milo statue to Annie. I got nowhere with that thought, but perhaps you are interested in taking a look at that thread:

Re: True Detective

I had hyper high hopes for True Detective as everyone seemed to love it. It ended up being one of the most disappointing tv series I have ever seen. I went through all the episodes, hoping it would get better. I recall the episode 5 being moderately interesting, and the final scene in the final epis...
