Re: Part 11 - There's fire where you are going (SPOILERS)
I've been doing a lot of thinking lately, and I've started to focus out beyond the edge of social media....at a bigger game. There's an owl hooting right now in a fir tree outside my window. I don't think we should ignore this auspicious occurrence. (It's a bird — classic augury). It's a good hoot....

Can you give us other sources? So far Dastmalchian's tweet is the only thing I've seen so far.N. Needleman wrote:Too much word is going around from too many places just like part 8 for tomorrow to not be a big deal.

Re: Part 11 - There's fire where you are going (SPOILERS)
I'm not sure. Going through his Twitter account he never promoted an episode like this before. So for me it's also hard to believe that he knows more. But otherwise why should he falsely claiming something? Guess we will find out tomorrow.Major Briggs wrote:Doubt he knows anything substantial about it...

Re: POLL: Old Peaks or new Peaks?
The new season so far is a marvel for me. Even when I love a series, I usually only watch it two or three times, with several months or years between every rewatch. With the new season of Twin Peaks I have rewatched every episode at least 10 times with an ongoing fascination. This is something I've ...

Re: Part 11 - There's fire where you are going (SPOILERS)
So, what DO people think? One person hinted at distressing ratings news in a post some pages back on here without any elaboration whatsoever, but I haven't seen any concrete info at all. Anyone know how Twin Peaks: the Return is doing? The media and critics love it and are constantly raving and the...

Re: Part 11 - There's fire where you are going (SPOILERS)
Not being a very well schooled in film lingo like many of the posters who have studied film on this board, I am struggling to find the right words to describe what I mean. Yes, Twin Peaks, especially this new season, has a very complex plot that is very engaging. And the plot does drive the show, t...

Re: Part 11 - There's fire where you are going (SPOILERS)
Considering how many characters, themes, mythologies, mysterious forces, and plain random events are going on in TPTR, the current pace implies that we will not get to revisit a lot of them and just brush on the surface of others. Part 11 had maybe five plot moving events and the rest was just a bu...

Yes, correct. Coop will either awake in the two final hours or maybe never really awake?Wonderful & Strange wrote:I'm starting to think Coop won't wake up fully until the final two hours.
By the way, we're getting those last two parts in one night, correct?

Becky and Steven are married. Maybe they will divorce after the last horrific scene.

Re: Part 11 - There's fire where you are going (--->SPOILERS<---) (SDCC Screening)
Ok, now that someone has posted the hints, here's my guesses. Black Fire = Lodge or Glastonbury Grove Vortex = As above Divorce = Hmmm. Big Ed/Nadine/Norma? Dating Canadian = No idea. Something to do with the Renaults/The Bang Bang Bar or the Canadian Border? Pie Dreams = Dougie dreams about cherry...

Hm, whatever that means. I was hoping for another divisive and dark episode. Could mean that we are getting another pretty lighthearted episode.Wonderful & Strange wrote:Supposedly a crowd pleaser?

Re: Part 10 - Laura is the one (SPOILERS)
Loved Rebekah Del Rio and the last 15 minutes of this episode. Otherwise again much filler material. I liked every episode so far, but this is slightly disappointing after the very strong episodes 7 and 8 where so much was going on.

Re: ROLLING POLL! Your ongoing reaction to the first half of The Return, parts 1-9 (SPOILERS)
I thought episode 9 was a bit underwhelming, but the first half of this season was a fantastically wild ride. Episodes 1, 2, 7 and 8 all have masterpiece level. Really love the darker parts of this season.
