Well, I've had my obligatory TP dream. Can't remember anything about it at the moment except LFB came back - but she was still young so make of that what you will. Future, past, yadda.

What kind of stuff wouldn't suck? I'm thinking trading cards. Decent 'making of' book. After that? Has there been anything particularly iconic in the show that would make it to retail?

Just an aside, but I thought there were moments in episode 12 where Lynch looked like the age he actually is/was. No-one seems to have acknowledged the oddity of an FBI agent - especially one still doing field work - at this time of life (even if Gordon is meant to be a, little younger).

I never really saw decline - I saw difference. The show became sillier and more soapy but I didn't enjoy it less. Perhaps those aspects haven't aged as well, especially for younger viewers who have become used to edgier, darker TV but my memory is of sustained interest.

Frost writes about sports. His novels tend to celebrate Sherlock Holmes style sleuthing.

BadCoop (presumably) asking about Vegas suggests to me he wants to divert or distract the investigation away from TP. If the FBI find 'Cooper' in Vegas, BadCoop will once again be able to go under the radar and/or pursue whatever venture he's embarking on. Even a dead Dougie gets the authorities off...
