Very interesting stuff, Jerry, I wonder if there were other shows filmed in TP sets at the time, since they rented them...

I've always thought he looked a lot like Silva in that scene...

Re: After Josie Packard

In that scene at the RR if you look at Truman you can see he's actually really sad... Ontkean's performance helps, but I'm sure the director wanted him not to be very cheerful, but also that his pain wasn't too obvious... IMO it's beautifully done... There's even a brief exchange between Coop and Ha...

Re: Bad music in episode 7

By the way, I believe that music is used later in the series when Leo 'wakes up' and attacks Shelly and Bobby, isn't it? A much better scene and I don't remember the music bothering me...

Re: Blue Velvet 2011 Blu-ray Release with Deleted Scenes

I've just finished watching the deleted scenes... I loved them, but they're not what I expected... The ones from WAH include a lot of secondary characters and many, many things that have nothing to do with Sailor and Lula, which made them very interesting... Here, as you know, most of them deal with...

Re: Bad music in episode 7

Ah, that scene with Catherine and Shelly... One of the worst moments in the series for me and not only because of the (I agree) cheesy MacGyver-like music, but also because of details like the tiny well-placed axe, perfect if you want to cut ropes, but pretty much useless in such a huge sawmill; or ...

The combination of Leland's eyes and forehead with Sarah's smile is unexpectedly disturbing, but uh yeah...crappy cover...

Re: FRINGE

Just yesterday I saw a FRINGE episode heavily influenced by TWIN PEAKS, with many little and big homages beginning with its title "Northwest Passage"... It's set in a small town in the state of Washington and the story begins when a nice waitress from a cafe famous for its pies is murdered...

Re: FRINGE

I'm currently watching FRINGE from the beginning for the 2nd time... It's such a clever show and there are tons of brilliant episodes like "Peter", that was one of the best hours of television I've ever seen... And John Noble, to think how I hated his character in LOTR and how much I love ...
