Re: New/old Book by Frank Herbert
According to the asshat Kevin J. Anderson, it will be available in print form in a couple of weeks, though I've yet to see any confirmation of this at Amazon. As much as I'd love to read a never-before-published work by Frank Herbert, for me it's been tainted slightly by the involvement of the afore...

Re: Sad
There's a quote in the "Encyclopedia of Science Fiction" that pretty much sums up my views on Lynch's "Dune" - Bits of this bad film are close to masterful. I still love the film, and the book, but I just wonder what Lynch could've done with six hours to play with, rather than 2 ...

Re: Lara Flynn Boyle rumors, all true?
Probably no surprise here, but I disagree with blair - Kyle has to take a significant amount of the blame, along with his bloody ex. That interview of his on the documentary is revealing more for his squirming body language than his weak excuses. If he doesn't believe a word he's saying, how can we?...

Re: Let's talk changes: how would you change the second seas
It seems like I've spent a huge portion of the last month gradually working through this monster thread - 75 bloody pages of it!! - the amount of work put into this by Audrey Horne and Evenreven along with the additional input of They-Shot-Waldo! and Amonitrate is just phenomenal. Kudos to all invol...

This floor design was used previously by Lynch in Eraserhead and Dune.

Re: "Do your palms ever itch?" All things Audrey
While we wait for Audrey Horne's next entry here's some crap I've thrown together against a wall hoping some might stick. (Sorry Audrey not to have given much in response to your last entry, I guess you said everything that really needed to be said, but it was a pleasure to read.) Okay, we all know ...

Which is why inconsistencies can slip in.
But, then again, where's the fun, if everything is cut and dried
By the way
Your doing yourself a huge disservice.

Re: "Do your palms ever itch?" All things Audrey
Fair enough, I can see that they needed to have an edge to the Coop/Ben scene in the next episode, but there were 2 other deleted scenes, in this episode that showed that Coop was already exasperated at Ben's apparent nonchalance. 1- SHERIFF'S STATION - DAY Harry escorts Ben out of his office. BEN '...

Re: "Do your palms ever itch?" All things Audrey
Still processing Audrey Horne's 02.05 analysis, but I've been going through the original scripts to find evidence that, to Cooper, Audrey's disappearance/kidnap is personal despite what he said to Harry, I noticed the final scene to 02.02: The phone RINGS. Cooper turns on a bedside light, answers it...

Re: "Do your palms ever itch?" All things Audrey
Audrey Horne- thank you. Your best work to date, and in an episode where Audrey says little and does less! I'll be re-reading this a few times in the next couple of days, before I work up a worthwhile reply, the intial reaction, though, is of astonishment.

While we all wait patiently for Audrey Horne's analysis of episode 02.05 - here's some of the analysis episode 02.04: Renault displays the image of Audrey on the videotape, gagged and bound. Fenn's Audrey stares directly into the camera lens, penetrating briefly through it. It's interesting to note ...

Re: "Do your palms ever itch?" All things Audrey
Okay, one last try, because I feel like I'm hitting my head against a brick wall here. Simply put, I try and remain on topic, and considering that this topic is 'All things Audrey' - then I'm mainly going to be talking about Audrey, Audrey and Cooper, How the second season fell apart for me because ...

Population of Twin Peaks
Sorry if this topic has been discussed before, I did a search and found nothing, so: The population of Twin Peaks? 50,000+ :? Admittedly I know nothing of small-town American life, but at no time does Twin Peaks convince me that there are 50,000 people living there - 5,000 I could realistically acce...

Re: "Do your palms ever itch?" All things Audrey
I really don't understand how to hate the second season and supposed to be a twin peaks fans...the second is the 2/3 of the TV show and have the main plot  ). Well, I guess you just have to recognize what this particular thread is primarily concerned with - namely the character of Audrey Horn...

I really like the idea of Annie and JJW exiting the RR and stepping in front of a fully laden 18-wheeler lumber truck *double splat*
But then I am cold-hearted bastard.
