Re: Let's talk about MIKE
It occurs to me that the root of all the confusion about Mike might lie in the decision, in episode 4, to make the one-armed man of Coop's dream a real person while the long-haired man remained without body, the "true face." From that point on there is a vaguely out-of-sync quality betwee...

Re: Mistakes/Goofs
S1E06: Doc Hayward: "Jacques Renaults blood is AB-." S2E01: Albert Rosenfield: "[The Killer] left a note written in blood. Fire, walk with me." Agent Cooper: "Here's the interesting thing. The blood on the note was tested. It doesn't match Leo's, Jacque's, Laura's or Ronett...

Re: Annie in FWWM
What I want to know is why Annie was wearing Caroline's dress from the Red Room when she's in emergency care at the hospital in the Missing Pieces, instead of the black Miss Twin Peaks she wore entering Glastonbury Grove in Episode 29.

Re: The Laura Palmer Project
Even more than Cooper, Laura Palmer is my favorite character in the series, for many of those reasons. First her mystery drew me in, who she was, what she went through, why she died. But then, getting to know her, I could strongly relate to her because of aspects of my own childhood and adolescence....

Sparkwood and 21 Podcast
Hey all, I just want to give a shout out to a really good Twin Peaks podcast I've been enjoying listening to called Sparkwood and 21 Podcast from the No Ship Network ( http://www.noship.net/twin-peaks.html ). Like many TP podcasts, they are reviewing every episode of the series and the film in order...

Re: Who eats garmonbozia?
From what I see, I would find it far too misleading for Lynch to create a shot of Bob and the Little Man seated at the Formica table with bowls of garmonbozia before them and then expect us *not* to assume that is what Bob eats. At the end of the series, if you hadn't seen the film yet, it was still...

I finally caught up on all of these and just want to say what a magnificent job you did Lost In the Movies. Thank you again for putting this together.

Re: The Owl Cave Ring - thematic significance
So...if you're correct about a link between the ring and the appearance of the angels, are we to assume the ring will bring that nurse who stole the Ring from Annie her angel as well? There's also some deduction involved about where Lynch is going with all this based on his own stated belief in &quo...

Re: The Owl Cave Ring - thematic significance
But they stand for larger cosmic forces that correspond roughly to the forces controlling human lives. And the film seems to suggest that Mike's power is generally more positive, and perhaps deeper & richer, than Bob's. If it was just a little more clear, I could concede that the entities seen ...

Re: The Owl Cave Ring - thematic significance
Yeah if it didn't have the damn Owl Cave symbol on it and we didn't see the Little Man offering it or Mike/Gerard wearing it then we could assume it's just Teresa's ring and connect it's appearance on a mound of dirt with Laura's necklace from James also being ritually placed on a mound of dirt in t...

Re: Review of The Missing Pieces
Well LostInTheMovies, I, for one, don't want to have the same questions twenty-five years later (not that I actually watched Twin Peaks twenty-fives years ago but whatever). I want to have new questions. But while it's possible that you have a point concerning what Bob feeds on, I have to assume tha...

Re: Let's talk about MIKE
...if there are all these different spirits, many of whose roles seem to overlap significantly - THAT might end up being overcomplicated. Whereas if we boil it down to two essential forces (themselves indicative of a greater unity, perhaps gone astray) it becomes a bit simpler, and purer. I think &...

Everything you said you would like to know more about there, I completely agree with. I really hope Lynch and Frost make the effort to clean this up in 2016.

Re: The Tremonds
I've always preferred to view "the magician" as referring to any magician or seeker of the dark forbidden knowledge or power, or maybe even just benign knowledge through paranormal means (such as Cooper) or control over one's reality. I don't think it refers to any specific character. It j...
