Re: Queen Kelly
when Sue goes into the house to find billy and she finds Julia Ormond and when she says she loves him she hits her again and again. that reminds me of QK.

Re: Queen Kelly
And when the phantom usually sees her alone at home and normally not on the street - where could the phantom see her together with the murdered person?! Maybe at the place where she murdered someone. And who could observe a murder?! Probably a phantom. but why does he say that he's used to see her ...

Re: Queen Kelly
it's all very interesting the way it connects to the whole thing. i haven't clear it up in my mind yet, but you just put it down very well in your post. i feel that there's a connection to the way the leads of OHIBT are absorbed in their characters like Norma Desmond is in SB. now, i have seen SB on...

Re: Queen Kelly
Red was also the cetchup on the white shirt. And (I think) Sue sees something inside. It`s similar to a scene Norma Desmond watches in Sunset Boulevard. This scene is from a movie called "Queen Kelly" which wasn`t finished as far as I know (as 4 7). And we have a crucial scene here :-). W...

Re: David Lynch Weekend
i watched a bit. lynch looking good. he was wearing a really cool scarf!
and again it was the same question : why do you make such films if you're so happy.
you've seen it before Annie, don't worry

it got me hooked from the beginning, actually one of the best intros in films./
i try to find a way to see it on the big screen. i would love that.

Re: DAVID LYNCH DECODED--INLAND EMPIRE
it is indeed very encouraging to see what somebody could do with just a simple cam, but still that can't be the only reason he used this kind of equipment.
i haven't study film to know/ i just see that there's a different sense in digital.
i mean, lack of detail, has some purpose.

Re: DAVID LYNCH DECODED--INLAND EMPIRE
yes, i see what you're saying. artistically there are similarities to all these. the difference is certainly that this was made with digital. somehow, it makes it more... real? digital gives something to this that you don't see in any other lynch films and that's great. for instance if you see the r...

Re: DAVID LYNCH DECODED--INLAND EMPIRE
well, there are a lot of different shades, but i thought there was a specific name for this color but anyway, i don't think it matters so much :D and it's not exactly turquoise 'cause turquoise is closer to blue. and unfortunately i still can't remember what this reminds me of... but it's not a spec...

Re: DAVID LYNCH DECODED--INLAND EMPIRE
