Re: Annie and Dale

Seems like a cop out to me. They remembered the things you mentioned eventually. No reason they couldn't have suddenly "remembered" Annie...Hawk mentions her explicitly! As for Ep 29, seems like all parties involved behind the scenes forgot, though it is possible that Norma didn't realize ...

Re: Annie and Dale

Yeah, at the very least I would think working on the missing pieces would have reminded Lynch that Annie exists, and at the very least we could've had a comment indicating Mr. C killed her, or whatever.

Let's just say I would be extremely shocked if they did something like this.

Re: When do you think will "Dougie" snap back to being Cooper? (Spoilers)

The longest-dragging tease is usually followed by some of the best sex, just to put it in a rather in-your-face way what I believe might've been the motivation behind the 15.5/18 parts involving Dougie-Coop. ;) Parts 1 and 2 and some of 3 featured real Coop, in the Black Lodge/Zone. So, I'd say 13/...

Re: Gender in Twin Peaks: The Return (SPOILERS)

A small thing, but it bothered me that Bellina Logan was credited as "Female Doctor." Wasn't she the only doctor in Part 16? Why was her gender relevant to the credit? Couldn't it have just been "Doctor"? It is a sign that, in the minds of whoever is responsible for the credits,...

Re: Gender in Twin Peaks: The Return (SPOILERS)

This is a 300+ message discussion. Can't see how it would have been comprehensible lost inside another thread. Well, a large portion of it was discussing whether or not it should get its own thread, and whether or not the topic is worth discussing at all. I think if you filter all that out, it woul...

Re: Gender in Twin Peaks: The Return (SPOILERS)

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know exactly who banished this to its own thread? Mod consensus under pressure I think. It's interesting the microcosm of the main defense that 'it's just reflecting reality, duh' and 'it's not one artist's problem so it's beyond questioning.' These are such 'free...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

So does everyone else agree that Jerry definitely recognized Richard and possibly Cooper through his binoculars, even though looking through binoculars that way wouldn't have magnified anything? Will he go tell Ben about what he saw? Can anyone confirm if Jerry said anything legible after Richard's...

I think this proves that you can slap Lynch's name on things and they instantly become more interesting.

Re: POLL: The Nature of Audrey's Situation (Spoilers)

And as far as Audrey specifically: keep in mind that this is a person we last saw at age 18; we're now seeing her 25 years later as a fully-formed middle-aged adult, with all the regret, anger and loss that entails. Are you the person you thought or hoped you'd be at this age, back when you were 18...

Re: POLL: The Nature of Audrey's Situation (Spoilers)

I assume all of season 3, including this scene, is a dream, but likely not by Audrey. Maybe by Cooper, or maybe it won't ever be revealed. I think that would be disappointing if everything was a dream. Maybe the last episode will end with a younger Cooper saying: "Harry, let me tell you about ...

Re: POLL: The Nature of Audrey's Situation (Spoilers)

Also mentioned Billy missing (mentioned by Bing at RR), and his truck (already had a scene about that). Assuming that truck owner we saw is also named Billy. As of now the character with the truck has only been credited as "Farmer", saying he is Billy is just speculation. Besides, the far...
