Re: Parts 1 + 2 (Spoilers)

Mulholland Drive and Twin Peaks had a mutant baby in Eraserhead's apartment and it's fucking beautiful.

The Glass Box! One to get your mind spinning.

Re: Parts 1 + 2 (Spoilers)

So happy to see him playing with the format, so many great bits to pick apart -- so much left to do. This is going to be a great summer. The only thing I predicted was Shelly having a crazy daughter and cheating on Bobby with some winking guy. Also the possibility of a HST cameo. Everything else was...

They had to deal with the cliffhanger and getting Coop out of the lodge. After almost three decades it's happening. How surreal! I'm dazed in a pile of donuts.

Re: Parts 1 + 2 (Spoilers)

This is fantastic, gorgeous madness and I want these episodes pumped into my veins. "The Evolution of the Arm" is brilliant and MJA must be getting drunk and throwing shit at people over being replaced by that glorious thing. I hope it pisses off scads of people as per usual, DL is back in...

Re: NON SPOILERS: Twin Peaks: Season 3 on Showtime Thread

I went around figuring we'd never see "The Missing Pieces" for years. That this is happening is quite the turn of events, and is definitely being appreciated to the breaking point and back. My face hurts from smiling.

Ah but wouldn't it be lovely to have it begin with a Log Lady intro? Perhaps too on the nose, but a charming thought.

Re: NO SPOILERS: Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime May 21st 2017

They just removed some of the casting spoilage and removed the comments yelling at them for said spoilage.

That mashable quote is exactly what we need to hear the day before! The thought of a massive David Lynch movie to enjoy over a summer almost makes up for the rest of 2017.

Oh, that's beautiful. Man, imagine if Fire Walk With Me went out uncensored on the network. That would've helped goose ratings.

Maybe it turned out for the best, then -- would love to see original work. Definitely got a tasty Hernandez vibe from it as well!

Re: 18 hours- will it turn out to be too long?

So your worst case scenario is a very good movie that loses money for a corporation that I don't own stock in? Sounds fine to me.

I'm sure many people will be twitchy and bloggers will drone, but my god - 18 hours is so much room to play. It's going to be such a treat.

The Arri cameras they used can do 4k after a software update, I think. At least I know the Amira does 4k now since I used it a few months ago. Not sure of the timeline for TP production tho.
