Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

Cooper is telling the One Armed Man to make another Dougie (like him) to give the Jones a happily ever after. He stumbles on some of his sentences in his goodbye in telling them Dougie will be back. Cooper is fixing things. Cooper is not giving up on what he does best in life... "I am the FBI....

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

Two birds (British vernacular, women) one stone (hard object, rolling stone, wandering man). Richard is Audrey's son with BadCoop, Linda would be Diane's daughter with BadCoop. This just keeps getting better and better. Although I would love more Twin Peaks, I really feels like this is the end comin...

Re: Part 15 - There's some fear in letting go (SPOILERS)

Janey-E doesn't show up at the door to find Coop with the Limo driver until after we hear the owl fly by.

The second owl is when we first see Sonny Jim help Coop sit down.

The owls are not what they seem, right?

What if Janey-E and Sonny Jim are the Tremonts?

Re: Cooper's awakening

A woman named Jade signaled the beginning of the Dougie journey, a woman named Ruby seems to signal the end. Excellent observation. To further piggy back on this observation: Jade's sister Emerald, should be taken into account, as far as context is concerned think Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, her o...

I simply cannot wait for this to be released as a Blu Ray box set.

Just cannot wait.

Re: Part 15 - There's some fear in letting go (SPOILERS)

A brilliant episode, my favourite aside from Part 8 so far. The Jumping Man was the stand out imagery for me - terrifying. Death permeated this episode - not only the death of the Log Lady but the thought of her filming those scenes with such ill health herself. And the realisation that Bowie was c...

Re: Part 12 - Let's rock (SPOILERS)

But it's not short hand - that was my point. "Gotta go" = "Got to go". That's a contraction. When people speak, they don't enunciate the word "to". "Got a light" is exactly how it is written and spoken, so there is no contraction. If it's really meant to mean...

Re: Part 12 - Let's rock (SPOILERS)

There are a heck of a lot of references to smoking in this show. Gotta light? The spelling of that's kind of odd. Out of context, wouldn't one would naturally read that as a contraction of "got to light"? It's standard spelling for the short-hand vernacular usage of "Have you got a l...

Re: Part 12 - Let's rock (SPOILERS)

I've realized this show is really hitting me emotionally, because it is exposing my own mortality as I watch and see what has become of my favorite characters over time. The trials and pitfalls, the crow's feet and failed dreams, the hope for the future in children, the repetition of the past in fam...

Re: Part 12 - Let's rock (SPOILERS)

Guys ... the scenes with Sarah Palmer are really hitting me below the belt emotionally.

Seeing the outcome of all this and how it's taken its toll on her is especially hard.

Re: Part 11 - There's fire where you are going (SPOILERS)

This might've been the best episode so far. To answer T.S. Eliot, I think it will all end with a Bang not a wimper. Everything is on track with my original theory that the pacing will continue to accelerate towards the finish. Once an exponential growth curve hits a vertical line we will reach the ...

I completely agree, and this part got my pops hooked, he said he'll be over next week for sure and wants to catch up on 1-10 inbetween.

When all is said and done, this will be legendary!

Re: Part 9 - This is the chair (SPOILERS)

The theories that people had, that as this progresses and as Cooper becomes more awake, that the feel and mood would also become more familiar with elements like more of the original music, seems to be spot on. Seems we're going to have an interesting come together moment which will probably revolve...
