Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

We really have to hope that The Return isn’t Audrey’s coma dream. Audrey has no business having extended dreams about Gordon Cole, or having dreams about his dreams. Or having dreams about his dreams about Monica Bellucci, an actor whose career hadn’t begun when Audrey entered her coma. Or having d...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

With the demise of Chantal and Hutch, I'm left wondering - has Lynch been waiting since 1994 to let us know he's not that keen on Tarantino? Honestly, what was the point of these two except to carry out acts of pointless violence, bitch about fast food, then get dispatched in an over the top shower...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

So, yeah, sorry but don't expect us to turn around after 15 episodes and be all, 'Praise Lynch!' Plus as I and a couple of people have pointed out, there's a level of hypocrisy here. The same fans that decried our nostalgic tastes are in rapture because we have a missing piece from the original ser...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

So many payoffs, yet all so unexpected. So many huge emotions, and all earned through hours of painstaking character development and focus on theme. Lynch proved the unfaithful naysayers wrong yet again! Definitely, though I want to say at this point- the naysayers are welcomed back into the ...

Re: Part 15 - There's some fear in letting go (SPOILERS)

Why didn't Mr. C. speak backwards when he was in the lodge? Is he now so accustomed to our world that he prefers or is better at speaking normal? Jeffries didn't speak backwards, either. I don't think Mr.C was in the Black Lodge. He wanted to avoid being pulled back in so why would he go there will...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

It's too late to stop watching but at this point I sincerely wish I had not watched a single episode of The Return. TP meant a lot to me and it's going to mean less after this. I have no doubt that people will use that to say I never really loved the original but trust me, it's not that simple. I h...

Re: Is anyone else a huge Dougie fan and would be sad to see him gone?

The Dougie storyline has dragged on long enough. I won't be sad to see him go, I miss Cooper and it's time for him to wake up. The poor guy can't even express himself, go to the toilet without help or buy his own cherry pie, I don't understand why some people see that as some sort of happy ending. ...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

I feel like I have come around to love and accept the series a lot more now. First I hated it, then I watched it for what it is, so bad it's kind of funny thingy (and sad at the same time). Then hope finally came back with episodes 7 and 8, tiny hope but still... and episode 9 and especially 10 cru...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

I expect a lot of people to be disappointed. This episode did not live up to its title. I'm still digesting everything but it struck me as kind of a sequel to Part 6, except even crueler. I'm not sure but it may be my least favorite part thus far, even though it was masterfully directed (as usual)....

No. You're the one embarrassing everyone in here. That topic is made specifically for people disappointed. We should have the right to whine as loud as we feel the need to. If you enjoy the show I think you shouldn't be there. I guess you love it so much that you take any criticism personally.

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

People like feeling superior I guess. Don't like this? Should be watching Iron Man 4 instead. Kind of renders all legitimate criticism redundant doesn't it? Well, thing is Twin Peaks : The Return is vastly superior to most of the current TV production. It is sure very different from S01/S02 and is ...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

i can't be the only one. please someone. 10 down. 8 to go. i'm just feeling like we could have had an epic storyline involving cooper hunting down his doppelganger already. but just another hour of retard coop, a bunch of characters that probably won't get fleshed out. no big ed yet. and another 10...

Re: Part 9 - This is the chair (SPOILERS)

Interesting to read people's interpretation of the doppelganger's text to DIane. I definitely didn't read that they were secretly communicating, I thought the doppelgänger was just being intimidating and messing with Diane, boasting his apparent omnipotence. "Around the dinner table conversati...

Re: Part 9 - This is the chair (SPOILERS)

I'm thinking that Ray might have been simply lying to COOPER about Betty. One thing that occurred to me is that Ruth wrote the coordinates on her arm. Her body is missing. Whoever has that body has those coordinates. Ray certainly seems to have some secrets. Possible. But I think Cooper is too cunn...

I tried getting outside once. The special effects and picture were great but the storyline was shitty. Basically no plot.
