Cast also probably didn't get their lines much in advance - and even if they did, did the script specifically say 'Learn these lines backwards'?

When replying to a post, could people sometimes edit the OP? It's a bit wearying having to scroll past the same things over and over and then find a one sentence reply.

BadCoop was in danger, but why did Dougie have assassins on his back too? His wife mentions being able to "pay off" someone.

I think it's now obvious why so much of the merchandise has been so focused on the original series. Laura left a marketable corpse - the new episodes, not so much!

I think the Dougie thing could have been done differently. Coop could have been disorientated without appearing faintly ridiculous. We have a lot invested in this character. Are we supposed to believe his wife doesn't notice he appears brain damaged?

Pitchfork reporting there will be two soundtracks - one songs, one music (although it's not terrifically clear the difference.)

My guess is that there will be a volume of songs and another more trad soundtrack with the shorter cues and instrumental works.

I'm surprised how quickly 'bad Coop' has been brought in. It would have been nice to see him in the wild a bit more. What has he been doing all this time? Where has he been? Who has he been associating with? My instincts are that Frost and Lynch may have collaborated on the script but, for example, ...
