I'll let someone else answer this, but wasn't Josie supposed to be present for the filming of the last episode? That could indicate that it was the storyline and not Joan Chen's wish. Or maybe she was just persuaded to make one last appearance. Also, the fact that she was filmed for FWWM could indi...

On the track - you can hear the poem read in the background. So, was this ripped from the transmission or was this the recording of Angelo scoring the scene live while watching the scene in the background (and that's what we're hearing?) Good question. To me it sounds like they just took the audio ...

I've watched my original broadcast tapes forever- the credits for both episodes were combined & appeared at the beginning of ep. 28. It still seems weird to me now to see the full opening credits play over the Lucy/Andy scene of ep. 29- just because I'm so used to it the other way.

A few people have said this is the Audrey/Norwegian track music. It's NOT! It is Donna's sister Harriet reading her poem about Laura at the Hayworth/Palmer supper - you can just about hear her, and it's little Alicia Witt on the piano! I think what people are saying is that the Audrey/Norwegi...

Re: Did any other TP tracks pop up on Angelo's MySpace site?

I just learned here the other day that a piano version of the Twin Peaks Love Theme used to be on Angelo Badalamenti's MySpace page. By the time I found his page though, the tracks to be found there were Shelley Quits (which I think I read here was subtly different to the track released as Shelley)...

I don't see how Lynch could ever finance a project like that. Producing TP would take MONEY. Do we want to see grade-Z budget TP segments?

Here is a link to the original script to the final episode: http://www.glastonberrygrove.net/texts/script29.html Right, so the whole concept of the red room as the lodge seems to have been Lynch's. That's why I wonder if they went back and changed the ending of episode 27 after the fact. Otherwise,...

I know Harry Hamlin has stated that playing gay in the film "hurt his career", but I've never heard Ontkean mention it (I've never read a whole lot of interviews at all with Ontkean).

Was that the one where he had a three-way with Harry Hamlin? :D Yeah- the "Brokeback" of its time!! I will have to see it. I can never get enough Ontkean! Ontkean rules. I loved him so much on TP. Would have loved to see him on the new boxset. Not sure why he decided not to be a part of i...

I loved both growing up- essential parts of my childhood. Looking back at them now, Brady Bunch is certainly way DUMBER, but the kids were really likable. And the Partidge's music was actually quite good for what it was.

Ontkean looked so young in that episode!! I grew up watching The Partridge Family, so its still a guilty pleasure of mine. I even admit to having a few Partridge CDs (I remember getting some strange looks from the record store clerk!!)

Link between the end of episode 27 & the finale

I know that when Lynch came in to direct the final episode, he threw out Frost's concept of the lodge (a broken down hotel of some sort, right?). And it was Lynch who brought the familiar "red room" from Cooper's dream back as the lodge. I can't believe this wasn't the concept all along. C...
