Re: Recommendations for Watching While Waiting for Season 3
Pleasantly surprised to see Crazy Ex Girlfriend mentioned! It's one of my favorite shows right now. Definitely nothing like TP, but a funny clever show. (And if you like musicals a no-brainer to watch).

So, this pretty much means Madchen is going to be at the Seattle signing since it's the only one left, right?

I'm thrilled Michael Horse was at my signing but seeing Madchen would be incredible too.

Between Sheilyn and David Lynch, I've come to the conclusion that transcendental meditation is the practice of airing professional grievances on Twitter.

Re: Twin Peaks Poll - First Time
I was 12 and watched the entire series first run. I was specifically told by my parents I couldn't watch the pilot so I went to my room and watched it. There must have been an argument at some point but they ended up letting me watch the whole thing openely from episode 1 through the finale. Surpris...

Yeah, Westworld has very little in common with Twin Peaks but it's one of the best pilots I've seen. Highly recommended.

At this point I'm thinking they'll do a marathon over a weekend leading to a Sunday launch. It would be more for publicity than actually catching people up. Who knows, though.

For some reason I always had it in my head this book was just mythology so count me as not disappointed whatsoever. Hooray for my poor comprehension tempering my expectations!

Sigh. I'll unpack the Peaks U-haul then...Jerry Horne wrote:I can't remember what location said it, but they said there would be no personalized signatures and not to bring anything else to be signed. This could be the case everywhere.

Re: Recommendations for Watching While Waiting for Season 3
True Detective season 2 made me realize why 'young person gets murdered' has become such a consistent trope in this serialized murder mystery genre. It's turns out when 'random slimy politician' gets killed, one really doesn't care whodunnit.
