Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/
Well, now we know this book is going to come out roughly 6 months before the premiere, which kind of surprises me. I thought they'd be launching closer together.

That clip creates a whole new genre - unintentional surrealism. It's pretty awesomely awful. My favorite part is after April is shot 300 times she's seen falling with her dress white as snow and without a single bullet hole, then in the next shot she's on the ground looking as if some prop intern sq...

Such devastating news. I immediately hoped they'd shot something in secret as two friends might in this situation. I doubt it though. The log lady will be missed. Catherine will be missed.

Re: See You In 25 Years
Just looking at the timing and what we know, it's entirely possible that Jerry Horne (with help from GeekBoy's rumor) caused the revival.
2011. David and Mark having lunch. Mark: Someone on twitter asked if we're bring back TP. It's close to 25 years. David: Hmmm. Well done!

Re: Open Matte Version of FWWM?
Is this just the regular vhs release? I'm sure it's still at my parents house. Pretty sure I paid like $100 for it. (Kids, in the olden days, you couldn't just buy a movie the day it came out on home video without paying an insane premium. This was so video rental stores could have a quasi-exclusive...

Re: Top 10 Songs From Twin Peaks
See what I mean? I already forgot Hook Rug Dance. Although that one's admittedly as much about the scene as the theme. I think it's a pretty incredible piece. On my latest rewatch I decided that the 'chickadee on a Dodge Dart' scene was my favorite in the series, and this music is used in the scene...

I always thought of Dick as being one of the main indicators of the "lesser" episodes... But I have to admit that upon this latest rewatch, I am finding everything he does hilarious.

Re: TP season 3: new actors
I feel like unknowns and respected-but-a-little-forgotten veterans would work best for the new characters as they did for the original series. Some of my other favorite resurrected shows like Arrested Development and Veronica Mars had fun additions - "look, James Franco! Jamie Lee Curtis! Seth ...
