Needs an option for "It ended."

I'm feeling very confident on Season 4 now. I'm just going to believe Part 18 was a season finale.

I see theories which are all very compelling, but I just don't see any substantive evidence that Cooper erased the original timeline. I think people who do that are assuming Lynch/Frost are taking a very conventional approach to time travel and changing history - that once it's done everything snap...

For those that absolutely don't think the original timeline of her dying was erased, how do you reconcile the conscious editing choice to not show "our timeline" again after Cooper loses Laura in the woods? I don't see any evidence in Part 18 that would suggest the original timeline doesn...

Haha yeah I never even thought about it but after reading the AMA my curiosity was spiked by about 1000%.

Maybe we can agree that the ending at least is open, i.e. not definitely negative. But to me, there is much more evidence for a happy ending than otherwise. For example, why would the Fireman create the Laura Orb as a counterforce against Bob, if Laura is doomed in the end anyway? Unless Laura and ...

I feel like people that want a happy ending will read into this like there is hope. If they want a bad ending, there is plenty of reason to believe Coop has hit a dead end. But I don't think there's any way to know unless Lynch makes a Season 4. All I know is that as long as Coop are Laura are alive...
