I quite like the picture but the logo's hideous and gold is the worst colour imaginable. I'd rather they did something simple and did it well. The problem with that cover is it does look like it was made by a fan with too much time on their hands. It doesn't look professional, or even tasteful for t...

Nice site Jerry. Grace Zabriskie rules and it's really nice to see something new on the internet. I've bookmarked your site and will keep checking for updates.

There's your answer then - that's where the video would have been.

I remember reading somewhere that there was an enhanced Blue Bob CD that included video footage, so you didn't imagine it. Most enhanced CDs don't work anymore. The video's weren't actually on the disc. The CD contained a weblink to a site hosting the video. I have a few CDs that used to play videos...

I started collecting Wrapped In Plastic a few years ago and have over forty issues. I'm determined to collect all 75 if it kills me, and I'm starting to fear it might! I love WIP. I try to buy back issues from Winmill (they're new and they smell nice) but will have to resort to trawling Ebay for the...

OMG John you have a fantastic collection. One thing I must point out is that what people keep referring to as the British presskit is actually an English language pressbook from Cannes. I have that book in English and French. It comes with a shooting diary, a chart showing the ways in which characte...

David Lynch only directed a few episodes of Twin Peaks so his dislike of commentaries is neither here nor there. Actually, it is. As I said, Lynch is supposedly involved in the new set. It's got less to do with his role as episode director and more to do with his role as series co-creator/executive...

David Lynch only directed a few episodes of Twin Peaks so his dislike of commentaries is neither here nor there. And while he doesn't like to give interpretations of his work, there's nothing to stop him documenting his thoughts on Twin Peaks a la Stories from the Eraserhead 2000 DVD. The only thing...

Good good! I think most people feel the same way, to be honest. You can buy the R1 import of season two for £22.00 in the UK. I paid at least £40.00 for the R2 season one set when it was released and that was just seven episodes and the pilot on four discs. Paramount could have rung a lot more mon...

After 16 years of crappy VHS tapes I'm happy to be able to see anything at all! I've only just noticed the barbershop quartet in episode 9 are supposed to be having breakfast, and that Josie's holding Pete's stuffed mongoose the whole time she's talking to her "cousin Jonathan" in episode ...

I keep hearing about Axel. Do they ship the DVD in decent packaging? I'd like to buy Boxing Helena from the US but don't want it to arrive in one of those horrible plastic bags. I'd rather spend a bit more on shipping and have it arrive intact - or wait until I go to Seattle in June. I'll have to lo...

The Short Films is an essential purchase. Six Men Getting Sick, The Alphabet, The Grandmother and Lumiere are in keeping with the moods and themes of DL's full-length films and are jaw-droppingly beautiful. The Amputee was shot to test film stock and is nice to have for completist reasons. The amput...

The best place to buy the Subversive Cinema Eraserhead 2000 DVD (identical to the dl.com edition but in a standard plastic case) if you live in the UK is Amazon marketplace. My Subversive Cinema Eraserhead 2000 DVD only cost around £12.50 delivered, with no import duties. The 'Stories' feature is a...
